Thanks for the update! Hopefully it does fix it.

If the lower volume was the cause of the noise, it will be interesting to find out what the potential lack of lubricant was impacting and if it has caused potential problems down the road.

I'm having same noise on past Saturday, it was cold. How much ATF did you add?
Add ATF via tranny dipstick tube, it's very small opening!
I believe the dealership added .87 litres. Apparently there was a bulletin saying some of the 2021 's have been shipped from factory roughly a litre short.

I reported this and was contacted by a Ford Rep who asked me to have it looked at by the dealer. I did that but of course they could not reproduce the noise sine the shop was warm... The Ford guy then closed it out. Since then I sent him several items where it repeated itself in cold weather... he ignored me... So I'm quite disappointed in these Ford Reps...

Did you ever bring yours back in to get the trans fluid level checked?
Not yet, I’ve been planning on taking the snow machines out this weekend and didn’t want to miss anymore of the season. My local dealer will take no less than a week to do any work.

(I Edited this post as I've noticed it DOES change with RPM...)

Hi Everybody,

Here's a longer video of what mine is doing. Today was -25c. It doesn't do it right away, but after about 60 seconds it starts. It changes with Engine RPM. It sounds like an electric motor or a pump. As the vehicle warms up the noise goes away. Either way, it's not a nice sound.

What's interesting as another poster pointed out is the small exhaust leak under the centre of the vehicle (you can see it in the video) I know from research that there's a heat exchanger in that area that uses exhaust heat to warm coolant for the battery. It must be some sort of a bypass or condensation overflow. I'll keep an eye on it and see if it does that constantly.

Leaving it with the dealer Thursday Night. Supposed to be -20c over night so I'll update on what they think.
