What is "9 year"?
I just did a (very) quickie coating with Meguiar's and the result is marvelous for such a simple process. Even if it lasted one month or one week, I'd be ok! : ) I normally loathe putting hours into wash-clay-wax-polish for a car, let alone the expanse of real estate of the F-150, so having a simple process (that works) is a joy. I assume it doesn't have the depth and brilliance ("pop") of what you've done, but for my purposes, I'm fine with the compromise.
The ceramic is covered for 9 years, with an every 6 month refresh coat applied. The buffing and smoothing of the paint was the hard part, now it will stay feeling like glass and hard as a rock. If it ever gets a chip or nick, the repair is covered by them for free.

I've seen this process and they do a great job of cleaning and fixing any imperfections in the paint. Even new paint will surprise you what they find and fix. It is a lot of work and takes some time. My thing was the expense of it. I don't mine cleaning and waxing my vehicles, guess you could say I enjoy it, if I wasn't so cheap I would do it also.

Sounds like your plan is a good one if they refresh and cover chips for 9 years. Hope they stay in business that long.

I would have loved a pre-cut but I was not sure how well I would do applying it and did want to risk $125 vs $28.

The $28 was enough to do 4 headlights or more in case I messed up. This area was such a non-curve pretty straight forward job, I figured I could do that. I was able to and even did an area under each door handle.

I'm cheap I guess is what I'm saying.
Bob, i think i will go your route.

Dropped off at Line X to be undercoated. Has to stay there for the weekend.
How much did it cost to have the Line X undercoat? Is it the same material as goes in the bed?

It is not the same as the bedliner. It was $300 for undercoating only - did not include doors, etc.

Washed it even though it's only been with me since Friday. I parked under a tree over the weekend and some sap got on the passenger side doors/windows. Birds also left their mark. Everything cleaned up well, though I did find two small issues in the process.

One is a nick, maybe 1/32" on the rear passenger door. It blends in with the carbonized grey very well. The other is that the lower front bumper does not want to fully snap into place on the driver's side. I tried a few times and it just slowly pops out again. I may loosen the screws holding it in place and then trying to get it to stay later this week. It's not noticable at all unless you're right next to it, but now that I know it's there it's going to bother me.

Installed a fastop- tonneau and soft topper combined. Clamps weren’t right for the 21s but I called FasTop and they immediately answered and are shipping me a smaller clamp. Once I get those I’m going to seal it good and start building a sleep platform for my upcoming elk hunting trip to CO.

Worth a shot, mine is still looking good and holding just fine.

Was easier for me to make a templet out of paper and then trace to the X-pel or whatever you use first then cut it. Make your solution and slap it on. You tube videos help so you how easy it is for the flatter non-curvy stuff.

Happy to take other photos or describe details.

The only major missing upgrade (aside from tires, dampers, sways) is a hidden winch mount. Any advice on how to get a winch mounted to the front of the PowerBoost behind the bumper and without fouling up the forward sensors for cruise, etc. … please advise! : )
