Well I actually uninstalled ford pass, upgraded my phone to iOS 15, did a master reset and a ford pass reset to the truck then reconnected everything. Since then, it’s been working every time I try but it’s only been a day. I’ll report back in a week!

I agree - there is only so much dealers can accomplish when the design or engineering has a flaw. Is there a way to get a complaint pushed to Ford other than dealers pushing it for you?

What tires are they? I have the Hankook on my truck and have already had 2 tires replaced trying to adress vibration at 75-80 mph. I’m fairly convinced these tires are just hot garbage… curious if that’s what you have as well?

I got the same answer - normal behavior…. My hope is that enough of these complaints come that Ford engineers adress it with an update/TSB. I am in a loaner 21 2.7 and it shifts way smoother than my 5.0. Frustrating….

Helpful update - thanks for sharing! Hopefully this fixed my locking compass is too… I told my dealer not to worry with it as I assumed it was a software related issue. 3 months of ownership and I don’t think I’ve seen an OTA update install yet tho…

Installed a fastop- tonneau and soft topper combined. Clamps weren’t right for the 21s but I called FasTop and they immediately answered and are shipping me a smaller clamp. Once I get those I’m going to seal it good and start building a sleep platform for my upcoming elk hunting trip to CO.

Mine does it in Park - whether it should idk - I don’t really hear it unless I’m close to a wall or something.

It's the transmission from what iv'e read - seems like a universal sound for the 21's with 10 speeds. Mine does it too and i have a 5.0.

Your truck sounds like mine…. I had the same camera issue. i just dropped mine in the shop to get the vibration at 75-80mph looked at again and they gave me an STX identical to mine with a 2.7 instead of 5.0 as a loaner. It shakes worse than mine but the trans temp gauge does the exact thing…...
