Today, I aimed my headlights after the 2 1/2 level kit was installed last week. I did several changes in Forscan, added LED taillight and front turn signal bulbs, and installed a 9-Drive.
My Forscan changes were Bambi mode, deleted double honk, deleted the turn signal/brake light outage flash, updated tire size to 275/65-20 and calibrated the speedo within a 1/2mph, changed my lane change blink from 3 to 5. I think that was it.
I wondered about turning up the DRLs. Has anyone done that successfully and are you happy with it? Oh, I almost reset the trans tables because of rough upshift, but I want to learn more about it first.

Installed an AMP Research # AMP75328-01A rear folding Bedstep. I prefer the AMP Bedstep over the OEM tailgate step for my usage, thus the reason I did not order the OEM step. Also I like the AMP Bedstep better than the Bestop TrekStep because of how much it stick out past the tailgate side when deployed so you can use it when the tailgate is down. The Bestop TrekStep has the advantage that it can be mounted on either side or both sides, and is less expensive. This step is 14 inches from the ground when lowered on my truck and another 20 inches upto the lowered tailgate surface. Make the process of stepping into the bed safer and a lot easier, kindof expensive for what it is, but a lot less expensive than an accident caused injury.

The instruction did not show which two of the five bracket holes to use, this is the configuration that worked for me, only use one of two holes in the lower bumper bracket.

When did we start torque wheel lug nuts?!

I am old enough to remember taking wheels off, put them back on, and tighten the lug nuts as hard as you can, no one ever mentioned or used - or even owned - a torque ranch for the wheels. When did this become a thing and what could happen if I just hand tight the lug nuts on the wheels?
That was back with steel rims....not the new alloy rims

Nice!

When using that step, do you find yourself looking for a hand hold on the bed?

I don’t have the tailgate bed step, so every time I have to get into the bed I grab the back corner of the bed to pull myself up, but I never feel like I have a good grip.

What prompted you to want to update the license plate lights? How much effort is it to do?
Just to match the other leds, those lights are like the only incandescent on the truck. It's super simple, the harness is just one of those twist locks into the bulb housing. Like a 5 minute job, no tools required. Bulbs are polarity sensitive, so just hit unlock on your fob before you put them back in housing to make sure they are in correctly.

Good looking truck, I really like that version of wheels but I can't tell what trim level you have.

I've been looking for some different for mine.

Thanks. It's a Lariat 501A with no appearance package. Wheels are 18" machined aluminum with magnetic pockets.
