I figured just saying it was BAP would be easier than the full explanation...but ya caught me!

Here are the details:

Ford Performance has a new full kit for our trucks that you can dealer order. As of now, you cannot separate the kit out, BUT my local dealer had a truck get this package and they did a custom grille with it. We have a good relationship and they know I've been looking for this grille so I was able to snag it.

So it is indeed a Lariat, gloss black painted OEM grill from this Off-Road Black Package that was installed on a truck. So I was able to get the grille only from the complete ordered package. I assume pretty rare to find so I feel grateful.

Side note: This is NOT my local dealer, but here is the package on a truck:

That was a little bit of a painful watch.
Better off to order a BAP. All I see there are a few basic bolt ons and still remains incomplete in terms of blacked out. I'd hazard a guess and say this dealer pack is more pricey than a BAP XLT order...and getting more in the BAP.

For me, I just really liked the grille. I could not (still cannot) get BAP + long bed. So I went long bed and just added the grill. I could see where maybe this package comes through for someone in my situation (ie: longbed truck but still wants the blackout look right from a dealer).

Overall yes, I agree with ya! I think the BAP is cheaper + you get more than this Ford Performance package.
Still neat they are offering it though!

I moved it 4 ft forward so I could get the motorcycle out.

Swapped out the front seats from sport cloths to Lariat take offs. Took about a hour each seat. Getting the rear set fixed (arm rest removal) and will do that next week.
Overall very simple. Just takes time. Came out great imo.

I have Lariat leather takeoffs that just need to be installed, but figured i should get somebody to install them. I also need to have the back seat arm rest sewed into a solid panel. Maybe I'll give the front seat install a shot if you say its easy...

this still boggles my mind you cant get the BAP if you want the long bed. its nothing more than an appearance package. AN APPEARANCE PACKAGE!!!! hahaha bed length shouldnt matter.

Super let down to see no Tremor either in 157 .

I would have gone for a Tremor in 157 with PB, instead I have the 157 PB in SAP+FX4. Some folks on here have inspired me to pursue the Tremor front end, would have to source the materials.

Same. BAP or Tremor in 157" would've been nice. I went 157 Sport + FX4 as well.
Guess since I want payload for towing, it would've been BAP since I'm guessing Tremor loses some payload due to softer off road biased suspension?
