I posted on here Jan 27th which was the first time I noticed my truck not switching to EV mode. Yesterday evening it did the same and I too got that exact error message this time.
Trying to get it into the dealer next week!
I've always liked bronze on darker colors. Bronze on black F150 from Middleton Motorsports (not my truck). Black Rhino Sahara wheels (17") on 37s. Sharing for some inspo!
Jumped on the forum after this happened to me during a very hybrid-friendly drive this morning. Taking my dog to the vet yields a good 5 miles stretch of relatively flat 35MPH roads which I can usually carry a pretty good amount of electric-only driving on.
This morning however, no electric...
Still treating me well, but I do have thoughts about switching to a more positive offset wheel option to hopefully get rid of the rubbing. I did take them on some trails and did rub, but not enough to cause any worry. No issues with things digging into tread, etc.
I have been thinking about...
Love these threads. They are so helpful! Adding my PowerBoost into the mix:
FPP Bilstein coilover level kit set at 2.5 up front
285/75/18 Falken Wildpeak AT3W (almost a 35)
Black Rhino Chamber in 18x9.5 +12mm (rubs a little, see photo)
I'll probably do some bending / trimming to get...
2022 PowerBoost:
FPP Bilstein coilover level kit set at 2.5 up front
285/75/18 Falken Wildpeak AT3W
Black Rhino Chamber in 18x9.5 +12mm
I had a 285/75/17 on here previously with zero rubbing (with a +18 offset), now that I'm on 35s and a +12 offset, I do rub the driver side cab corner when...
I'd love to hear a little more about how the UCAs increased performance! What you didn't like before in handling, and maybe how they improved it. Thinking of the switch, but always thought they might not make a big enough difference. Thanks for sharing
I'm at roughly 18K miles on my setup with...
If it's this kit, there is a 26 page thread about it. Trial and error, shipping details, installation tips, lift measurements, etc!

That would push the tire in roughly 3/4 of an inch further than what you see in my pic. I'd imagine you'd be pretty close to flush with that setup.
This is probably the closest I have:
Thanks! if you've seen my previous posts, I bought this because I couldnt find a Project M fast enough. I think the LonePeak, GFC, SuperPacific, etc would be an incredible option. One thing I run into is changing space (especially in bad weather). It would be nice to have standing room!
If...
Threw a Smittybilt 270 awning on! It's huge and goes fully to my front mirrors all the way around the entire tailgate. Very surprised at how quality it feels. Held up great in mild storms this weekend.
Just missing some photos of it open...ha! Oops.
Earlier I mentioned doing a solo camp setup using a SmartCap. While, I've done a few weekends with this setup and wanted to share!
I totally forgot to take photos from the exterior looking in, so please use your imagination from my cramped inside photo. Basically since I have a long bed I used...
RoadActive guys, mind explaining a bit more on the unloaded ride quality and the '1mm'? I've been very curious about this setup coming from airbags on a previous truck and haven't heard much on unloaded quality.
Thanks!
So far, yes. When I was debating which to go with I priced out a few fiberglass options to get close to the features I wanted here (mainly almost full bed access opening side panels) and that wasn't an option in non work-truck type tops. That narrowed it down to this style which made my decision...
Thanks Rob, and I did it in my garage! New trucks make it nice to work on since there is no rust or corrosion to deal with. The Ford Performance kit came with really nice instructions and when following all steps, made it pretty easy.
This is an XLT, pretty low end so I don't have adaptive...
This is my second set. I had them on my Tacoma a few years back. They are quiet (even a tad quieter than my Toyos), but they don't perform as well as the Toyo in snow. I'd put them on par with K02s for snow performance, but they've pushed through some heavy slushy stuff without fail so I didn't...
35s and a SmartCap!
Switched from 34's (kind of had to) and if you're curious I did a full wheel thread on my switch and how it all fits here: https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/switched-from-285-75-17-to-285-75-18-fitment-guide-34s-to-35s.19002/
