3% Under invoice on a 2023 F-150 Order @ Granger Ford

I am also in California and bought an F150 from a dealership in Oklahoma. If you hate the DMV like most normal people, I was able to do everything except the VIN verification and smog at AAA and get my license plates within 20 minutes. This is only if the vehicle was bought from a dealership.

I would imagine the weight certificate, too, or did they not ask for one?

Based on their website I thought you couldn't do a new out of state, so that's a bit frustrating. Wonder if I can finish the process there. Guess I'll call. Luckily our DMV is isn't all that bad.

I just handed them the documents the dealer gave me, the VIN verification, and smog check and that was it.

Is there a time limit or vehicle limit for this deal?? I won't be ready to order until next year, just didn't know if I would have to wait for the 2024 model year.

We will keep this open through the 2023 model year.

We had a nice wave going of granger people for this upcoming build week and then we got split up with delays there were 7 of us that I knew of. Bummer all year long

Just a quick update. The allocation situation for Ford has been changed slightly for the 2023 model year. We are not guaranteed an additional piece of allocation for a retail order through the COVP system with Ford starting this coming month.

We will still be taking orders at 3% under invoice. I do not anticipate this greatly affecting how we do business on the F-150 model line. However, there may come a point where we have to cap orders to make sure we aren't "over-ordering" above allocation and causing wait times that are extended longer than they should be.

Granted, we're still going to be dealing with commodity issues, but I don't want to take 100 orders if I'm allocated 10. We'll do our best to update everyone on a monthly basis on our demand versus what we're allocated. As I said, I don't anticipate this greatly affecting how we do business on the F-150 model line. But I wanted to update everyone on where things stand.

Subsequently, Chip called me with news of damage to the truck, while in transit. I re-ordered the same vehicle on February 3, 2022. It was built in early June and delivered to Granger on August 8th.

Granger picked me up at an airport hotel on Friday morning, 8/26/22. After arrival, the entire delivery process took maybe 15 minutes with Catelyn and Chip.

Since Friday, I have also received follow up emails from Chip and Zach.

Order and purchase with confidence, Granger Motors is a first class operation. From my perspective, they are the gold standard for dealers.

Maybe $5k or $6k off? Why not contact Chip and send him your build and he can send you the price after discount. My 502A was a little over $8k off from Granger. The MSRP was a tad over $70k.
