Your 2024 is almost identical to my 2022. I ordered in January 2022 and got it home the last day of 2022. 11 month wait but worth every minute of it. Mine is Atlas Blue but I love that Rapid Red with the BAP.
Good luck with truck!
I just ordered the LatchLid for my 2022 PB and it says it comes with "somewhat" security screws. We will see. I like that helps prevent someone from popping the tailgate thus making the security screws theoretically mute.
With the ARE topper locked and this LatchLid someone will have to work a...
Looks great! Barring any outlier mechanical issues, you will absolutely love this PB. I do hope it has the 7.2kw and if it does, you will be able to expand your gadget/tech wants to levels you never knew were possible with a truck. :)
Good luck!
Thanks for posting this link. About a year ago I posted a thread about security screws but basically got nothing. I searched high and low and never found this company. They look great. I'll have to see now if I can find the screw/bolt that is used for my 2022. This company will let you buy a...
Just to add one point about that non refundable deposit for Granger. If Ford deletes items from your order, you will have to sign a Ford letter saying that you accept this. If you refuse to accept the delete and want to cancel the order, Granger will/has refunded that deposit.
Like fatBat says above, Granger locks in the price when you submit the down payment for an order. Others may too, IDK.
I waited 11 months for my 2022 and during that time Ford had 2 price increases. I still paid the original quoted price since I did not change my order during that time. The...
Spigen is the go to company for any screen protectors I buy. At first I was leary about the matte anti fingerprint and did not know if I would like it. After searching every other option twice I finally pulled the trigger on the Spigen and it has been great. You only notice the anti glare when...
Yes there were others too. I do not think they used the exact business model, but something similar.
Koons by Washington DC was one. However, I think what they did was take their allotment of orders and if it was not filled for the month, they would open it up to follow the Granger model to...
I like the new vents (fake) better than the old vents for my 2022 Tremor (BAP) style hood. I do like that added satin silver edge as mine are just a plain black plastic. That edging makes a significant difference to dress it up a little.
I'll have to look to see if the shape is exact for a...
Understand the semantics of what they said. "They would lose too much money".
The qualifier is that they would lose too much money compared to the profit they want, and can make, selling that truck to someone else. Not actually losing money. I don't begrudge them any business model they choose...
If you are looking for cheap simplicity do a search for YURIK Accessories. He makes a motion activated, battery operated glove box light that sticks with 3M mounting tape. If you look he makes a white light one that is nice.
GlowBoxLite universal motion sensing light for the glovebox – YURIK...
HA! With TX I bet that UV cooks the clear coat in about 5 - 6 years if not protected. You guys got it rough. I debated about the roof but since I have the moonroof and let the wrap guy do it in pieces, he did not charge me much for it.
I did PPF for the full front end and roof. I plan to use it as a sacrificial layer for UV protection and remove it after about 5-7 years. This baby never sees the shade and bakes in the VA sun all day, every day.
During covid with supply issues, trucks were in shorter supply and dealers almost never had a new one on their lot. When supply is less than demand some dealerships added this "adjustment - pocket stuffing at your expense" onto the MSRP simply because they could. Dealers that did not employee...
Builtright makes a latch for the back seat so you can easily move it forward and not have to fiddle with the Ford OEM method. You may not use it much but it makes it significantly easier if you do use it.
With any luck now that many more F 150's are getting that Tremor style hood, someone like AVS will make a rock/bug guard that fits this hood. I went with PPF for the front end and roof but mostly wanted it to serve as a sacrificial layer for UV protection as this truck will never see the shade...
