Call around to your local dealers. I did that and everyone said the same thing, MSRP. If you get the same thing about MSRP then you will save in the area of $6k - $7K off the price at Granger. Maybe even another $500 off dealer fees. If you order you will also get a huge "price protection" benefit from Granger which could you save you another $3k over a 6+ month period. This method is not as easy as driving to your local dealership and just getting something "close" to what you want off a lot, (MSRP) but as with anything you may be paying $ for that convenience.

I'm flying there and driving home.
Definitely everyone is telling me MSRP, and they will protect the price. I'm not sure I share your math though. 3% off a 65,000 truck is about $2k. That gets soaked up in a plane ticket and gas home to Cali for me.

Not 3% off of MSRP. 3% off invoice. Invoice is ~ 7% under MSRP.

Ah that makes more sense, thank you
The 3% part of the discount kinda covers the trip back, so I gave dealers in CA the benefit of just coming down to invoice. Many didn't even get back to me after asking if they'll even look at a quote. The ones who did mostly laughed or tried to convince me it was a scam.

If you haven't gotten a chance to travel through Iowa, Colorado or Utah, you can just consider the trip back a reason for an adventure, and then it becomes a plus.

I picked up my truck from Granger a few weeks ago. Drove 1700 miles home in a day and a half. Best vehicle transaction I've ever had. Great people, great deal, super happy! Thanks again Granger!

For my 1/28/2022 order:

68,945 - MSRP
62,303 = offer sheet and signature price
6642 savings from MSRP on 1/28.
Approx $3000+ in price increases from 1/28 until I pick up my truck in approx Sept. however Granger offers price protection from the date of order. This is huge and do not discount this benefit if you plan to order.

When I finally get my window sticker it will probably have a sticker MSRP of over $72K and I will be handing over $62k minus any incentives I will get.

Air will be $400 for me and a couple nights at a hotel will be another $200. Add $250 for gas and I will save about $10K with my $1000 order incentive from 1/28. I also think I can save another $1000 if I use Ford finance. That was an offer when I ordered but that may be regional. The only downside was the 8 month wait. Upside I get exactly what I want and nothing I do not want.

Worth a trip to me all day every day as long as MSRP is all dealerships are offering.

Looking to order a ‘23 Limited and trade my ‘16 Limited.
-how do I know what the Dealers invoice price is?
-does dealer invoice price show up when I sit down to order with sales rep? Or will they just tell me what the MSRP is?

I am considering Granger because of their 3% under invoice pricing, but I’m in Mass and also have a trade in. Plus if I can leverage their offer against a local dealers best offer (which I haven’t done yet), maybe I can get 1% or 2% under invoice locally and save a trip.??

Please share any advice or experiences so I can figure this out. Thanks!!

Here is what I can tell you.
- You will only know the invoice price if the dealer elects to show it to you. Granger will, most others won't. If they are selling you a truck at MSRP there is no need to show you the invoice price and they probably wont.
- Again it will only show up if the dealer elects to show it to you. If you doing a deal based on MSRP you will get the prices off the window stick and there is no incentive for a dealership to show you some lower price that will not apply to the deal.
- Call around, call everyone within 200 miles and just tell them you have a deal, ask them for their deal if you order a truck. That is what I did but everyone in my area just said MSRP. I will be surprised if you do not find the same thing.
- Take your current truck to a Carmax or similar used car vendor. There is probably a lot in your area. They will give you a quote for your truck. Use those quotes as a guide. I would just sell it locally and not deal with a trade in unless I was buying the new truck locally. Once you know what a Carmax will give you, you can try to sell it for more on your own. I personally would not be bothered to do this and would take the best Carmax type offer.
- I am waiting for my truck from Granger and I am in VA so we are probably a similar distance from Iowa. Granger gives you a price protection guarantee on the date of order and not a price based on delivery date. This is a huge benefit alone and worth the drive.

Good luck with your decision and let us know what you decide to do.

Howdy everyone!

2023 Order banks are scheduled to open tomorrow! Feel free to call us at the store (515-999-2224) or email us at [email protected] We can build and price your order shortly through the WBDO system and get pricing on the 2023 F-150. As of this writing the 2023 order guide and WBDO system don't reflect the updated 2023 order banks yet, As soon as they do, I will update this first post with that information.

We were fortunate enough to order a TON of 2022 F-150s for forum members. We price protect from the time of order and offer the best deal on the Ford Protect pricing. We try to give a straight-forward and easy experience for all of our customers interested in a truck.

As always:
1 - Our documentation fee is $180.
2 - We offer the BEST deal on Ford Protect Extended Service Plans at $50 over cost.
3 - There are NO mandatory add ons.
4 - There is a Non-Refundable $1000 deposit due at order.
5 - We will get you an electronic signature document with options, pricing, and details for your signature before placing the order.
6 - We do not participate in courtesy deliveries to other dealerships.

Thank you for the continued opportunity to be an asset to this community.

Thanks!
@Granger Ford - Do you accept Z plan with price protection?

My experience with Chip and Granger for my 2021 Lariat Powerboost was nothing short of spectacular. Like others have said, quick ordering, regular status updates and that great price! It also helps that its only a 3 hour drive for me away, but even if I was across the country I would still come. They have a customer for life!

Yes, with a valid pin, etc.
Thanks for replying back but this is not the response I got when I emailed you guys directly requesting a quote for F150 Tremor with Z plan pricing. I even clarified that I was requesting a Z plan pricing and not the 3% under invoice deal.

I was corresponding via email with Ashleigh at Granger. Unfortunately, I have placed my order with another dealer but I would have seriously considered Granger, otherwise, especially with your reputation on this forum.

This might be a dumb question but I am new to the forum. Does the deal with Granger include all F150s or is there limitations? I want to order a Tremor but this might effect my decision.
