no rhyme or reason to Ford’s build process. Extremely frustrating and caused me to buy another 22 when I thought my order wouldn’t be produced.

yep, I have blue Cruise added with the active package. It works fine.. I was worried with the verbiage on readylift’s site, but it works great with zero issues.

ceramic tint is a must down here in the south. Besides the privacy the heat rejection is amazing. I’ve had it done on all our recent vehicles including the windshield. That besides the moonroof is the biggest area for heat to pour in.

added are some pics with windows up and down for comparison. . The front doesn’t appear as blue hued in person. Highly recommend air blue 80 for the windshield.

That looks really good. I agree, the heat here in South Texas is no joke and I'm going to go the same route you did with blocking as much heat/UVs as I can.

I decided to do a leather steering wheel wrap on my plastic STX steering wheel, and I'm quite impressed with how it turned out. It took 2 hours to do the lacing, but the wheel feels 1000x better than that plastic, and looks as good as the factory leather wrap on my E-Pace wheel.

NICE!
Got a link? I love a leather steering wheel.

Can you explain the stitch pattern you chose? Or just how you alternated side to side to tighten it around the wheel? Thanks
I used a double thread to make a thicker line. The truck for this pattern is to push the thread UNDER each stitch and pull back to the center.

The steering wheel wrap has the stitches on both sides of the leather wrap. Except for the first hole used to start stitching, you don’t push through the leather - you are lacing the left stitch to the right stitch - like lacing a shoe. It really is pretty simple, just takes a while. There are several YouTube videos to watch that explains it. The key, too, is keeping it tensioned.

In preparation for the oil changes, I made new ramps for my new truck. I looked at what is being sold now and just do not like that "waffle pattern" plastic. I have used solid wood for 40 years so I am sticking with that.

This gives me 6+ inches of lift which has always been enough in the past. I used 2x12's this time and the base is 45 inches long. I made it longer to accommodate a car with a lower cowl in the front. I sprayed the bottom with Flex Seal and man that stuff makes for some grip.

Now you will not be carrying these all over the neighborhood unless you want to start singing soprano but standing them up in the garage and using on the concrete or driveway is fine. Rock solid.

Just finished swapping the headlights, fogs and taillights. Swapped out the STX badge to an American flag.

How hard was it to swap the tails? Any rewiring involved with going from halogen to LED?

After the Lunex was done today, I installed Husky floor mats, Truxedo tonneau and Elevate rack system. Had to blow the dust off of everything, they have been in the garage for 5 months waiting for the truck to be delivered.

Nice setup, I have to look into this! How easy is it to adjust the height on rack?

That looks like a nice rack. Is it working in conjunction with a roll up or flip up tonneau? Thinking something like that might work for me for carrying Kayaks or Canoes?
