My friends named my two year old black and gold 2003 gen 10 King Ranch the "the BatTruck" from the moment I bought it on Ebay. Had been heavily modified with shaved doors, aftermarket supercharger, playstation, tinted windows, hard lid with a spoiler, sub box replacing the whole backseat, etc, etc. Was a steal at $17K and 18,000 miles. Stripped several of the more garish or silly modifications, but never replaced the doors. Got to be real good opening 'em with a coat hanger when the opener solenoids wouldn't fire for one reason or another.

Will miss that truck, but super excited to get my brand spanking new AMB XLT SCrew in a couple of weeks. Might be a while before she gets a name, I think.

My wife and I were debating what to name her new truck. Her 2011 F-150 was "Darla," and I can't remember why. Her 2019 (Magma Red) didn't have a name, really. Now that the FordPass app is more relevant and useful, we need to give her a worthy name. (My 2021 Mustang Mach-E in Cyber Orange is "The Great Pumpkin"!)

When showing her the pictures of the truck at delivery with the super-dark-blue paint, she noted that it looks like a bruise - sometimes black, sometimes blue. Hence the name...Bruiser. :)
