Picked up some brand new Tremor takeoff General Grabber ATX tires yesterday. Couldn’t pass up the deal. Tires were removed by the dealer prior to delivery, never used by the owner.

18” sport wheels are being powder coated black next week, new tires mounted immediately following. Then a long, painful wait til spring before they go on the truck

I see you also have a 2.7. This was the only tire I was willing to go with when upsizing to 275/70R18 because of the SL profile. Even though I have the payload package, was still worried about power, fuel economy, etc.

Just had a chance to run out and do one, 47.6 lbs.

Perfect thanks for checking. There was a different thread with some confusion if they actually came in near spec and this confirms they in fact are in range.

I agree about limitations trying to upsize the 2.7 and while factoring in power and economy. This is the only one I'm willing to go with also, I just wish a set of takeoffs would show up around me.

Look forward to the pics once installed with the powder coated wheels.

Never thought to do this. Usually, just keep one of those little towels you clean your glasses with nearby to clean he fingerprints, but this a way better solution. Thanks for sharing.

I washed my truck and used some Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax on the painted surfaces. I haven't hand washed in a while, and it made me remember that I used to really like detailing my own stuff..

Took my truck in for paint correction and ceramic coating. First vehicle where I've been in a position to get that done so I'm super happy.

Threw on the ol Bilstein Ford Performance suspension, Toyo 285/75/17 OCAT3 and KMC 17x8.5 +18 wheels. They are set at the 2inch notch which gave my PowerBoost just over an inch of front lift. Was hoping for a little more, but very happy with the ride quality.

Just installed LED bulbs on my headlights, and I found the easiest access is through the wheel wells. You’ll need a 7/32 socket or wrench which is tiny. The rubber boots are a little tough to remove from each socket. The total install time was around 45 minutes. The headlights went from a yellowish light to a bright white. I’m excited to see how they look at night.
