Last November I had mine in for regular maintenance and I flagged it to the service desk. Came back to get the vehicle, “we couldn’t reproduce it”. I said, “you must all be deaf then, come with me.” Dragged him into the parking lot and made him put his ear right to the door speaker. “Oh yeah, I...
I just posted this in another thread, there’s a guy on Etsy who sells tint strips for the XLT tails. Cleans them up nicely without having to replace.

I decided to just do the reflectors and not the reverse light. Didn’t love how dim the lights were. Might change my mind down the road and do the light smoke ones.
Before and after with the dark smoke tint strips:
I see your review on the same Etsy vendor I bought mine from ;)
I bought the dark smoke ones, can’t wait to get them on this weekend. Cmdsgns has some great product, and even better customer service.
I got mine done for $499 CAD. That included unmounting the old tires, powder coating, mounting new tires with TPMS and balancing. That’s roughly 20% or less of a new wheel/tire combo. Was way more cost efficient to go this route.
I've got mine powder coated in matte black with Tremor take-off Grabbers.
Funny because now for 2024, these wheels in gloss black look like the OEM Ford offering.
I just got this one unexpectedly. No icon, parked the truck for 5 mins, came back out and was alerted of the successful update. I was struggling with wireless CarPlay, seems to be connecting better now.
lol no need, just double checking. I was curious and looked it up because I'd love to replace my felt saggy 'shield' too. Mine's starting to fray on the edges.
I’ve also obstructed my vin and use a faraday box. My relatives lost a GMC and the police claimed it was using the vin. Greater Toronto Area, so the odds are higher than where I am, but doing what I can to make it harder on whoever tries. Come to terms that if they’re competent and want it...
+1 for the 2.7 w/ payload package. This was my first truck and I was drawn in by the engine offering in a half-ton. As a commuter vehicle, I've been super pleased with it. Was nervous moving from car-ownership to truck-ownership how bad the fuel hit would be, but it's only slightly worse than my...
Yup, all trying to use an old password. Probably something in a leak from years ago. Important lesson in turning on two-factor authentication in case they do get the real one, and regular password changes using a password manager.
Not winning this contest 😋 34,000km on mine, coming up on two full years of ownership in January. Trouble-free ownership so far. Hoping to squeeze another 8 out of it and get it close to 200,000km (~20,000/year).
