"Old to New"- What did you drive before purchasing

I had a 2013 Audi s4, modded to a little over 500 hp. It’s AWD system made this car a beast in the snow. I’m hoping the new powerboost is a capable.

when I started doing more off roading/truck stuff (loading the car with hundreds of pounds of concrete and planting supplies for the wife) I knew it was time to get a truck.

Nothing beats Quattro in the snow. Especially if you ran winter tires.


Trucks do ok, but Audis with the actual Quattro like older systems or the s-cars, are untouchable in the snow.

2016 F150 XLT 302a. This was my first F150 and I bought it brand new. Sold it to a private buyer while I am waiting on my 2022 F150 Lariat 501a. I loved that truck but I know I’ll love the new one even more when it gets here. Ordered 12/1/2021, still no word on the status…

I traded a 2019 XLT in for my 2021 loaded Lariat and the '19 only had 8200 miles on it so they gave me a ton of $$$$ for it.

I traded a mint condition 2016 Silverado 2500HD with 38000 miles on it. Good solid truck but I don't need a 3/4 ton anymore (had a camper on it). I live in the woods of northern Minnesota on some really bumpy gravel roads and wanted to get something that rode a little softer than the 3/4 ton. F150 rides very smoooooooth.

1998 Jeep Wrangler. This will become my tinker toy once the truck comes in. Only has 138k miles.

I sold my 98 wrangler recently - 205k miles. It was just for plowing and off-roading but a lot of fun on the trails and around town. Terrifying to drive on the highway though.

2014 F150, XLT, Super Cab, 3.5L EB, Max Tow and HDPP, 163" WB. Sometimes I wonder if I'm making a mistake. This current truck is a natural born tow machine. Obviously, I don't about the PB that's on order. Will it tow as good.

I'm tired of hauling the 2 EU2000i generators and the gas needed to run the gennys. That's why I ordered the PB with 7.2Kw generator.

2019 Silverado LTZ bought March 2019 and sold back in Feb 2021 after the dealer tried 4x to fix the back window from leaking and couldn't. Bought a travel trailer in June and can't tow it yet, so it sits in storage. Will probably rent a truck this fall for camping.

After a long five month wait, PB ordered on July 5th delivered Dec 3rd. Had updated other threads, but not this one with the old to new pics. Ended up renting twice for camping in the fall. Looking forward to towing soon with the new truck.

1996 F350 Crew Cab XL. Paid $4500 for it 15 yrs ago, sold it for $4500 when I ordered the 2021 PB. Did not realize at the time I would be out of a truck for 5 months :/
It was a good truck, would haul or tow anything without breaking a sweat, yet still drove like a half-ton. 275K miles on the original 351. Still think I should have just had it restored and updated.

What's to restore? Looks like new compared to what Illinois does to them.

20' Tundra SR5 here with a TRD package. AMB Lariat PB 4X4 ordered Christmas Eve 21'
Say what you will about Toyotas not being real trucks or whatevs, but I'll tell you, there is something to be said about how rock solid that big V8 is. It's a brand new "12 year old" truck that I leased waiting for the new Tundras to come out so I could buy my "dream truck". Toyota had so much time on the redesign , I thought they would revolutionary and class leading in many ways. Turns out, the redesign is merely class competitive if that. Plus, maybe I'm just getting old (turn 50 this year), but I just find that grill and overall styling a little too aggressive, especially the camo on the imprints on the plastic trim of the TRD Pro.

My wife had an Expedition and has an Explorer, we've had pretty good luck, so I thought I would join her and reward Ford for taking a risk on a lot of innovative features.. I can't wait for my truck!
