I’m on record giving props to Granger for the buying experience I received two months ago.
They impressed me even more today. I got a random check in the mail for 10 bucks for a “fee refund”. Who even does this anymore ? They could have easily avoided the hassle and kept the money, but they...
Weld actually credited me for a sale I missed out on by two weeks. Great service. I’m now officially in the Weld fan club. Here is mine with 20 inch Chasms
OP is in Wisconsin. Not much altitude to contend with. The rule of thumb is 3% loss for every 1000 feet above sea level. Let's round up and say 10% loss @ 3000 feet MSL. That would give the Coyote 360HP, which still gives it a healthy margin above the 2.7's 325hp.
Of course , the torque curve...
I'm not sure a 3.5 eco will get much better gas mileage than the 5.0 (depending on how you drive).
I agree with @Snakebitten
You get some stuff in that trailer and weight in the truck and the 2.7 might start to huff and puff a bit.
If you want gas mileage and towing when you need it (5-7...
Picked up my Lariat on Friday from Granger..
Lots of really positive reviews, so I thought in the interest of fairness, I would post a very awkward experience I had.
Got there at like 3:30 and met Chip. Great guy. He showed me my truck real quick. From there he walked me into the finance...
I have the same post a few down. lol
Found mine in the bottom of a cupholder. It doesn't do anything your regular key can't do, plus no way to put on a key ring, so I don't really get it.
Someone mentioned in my post that it would be good for sending someone in your truck to get something...
Picked up my F150 from Granger Friday. Getting wheels installed on Monday, love this truck so far …
Anyway.
About mid way through Nebraska, I noticed this key in the cup holder. Don't want to bug Chip on a Sunday , so I thought I’d ask the community.
Also, since I’m posting. I noticed this...
Thoughts???? C'mon man...
You remind me of that smoking hot girl in high school who could stop time itself. She knew it but would still look in the mirror and say, "Do I look alright"?
:ROFLMAO:
That thing is so bad ass!!! One of the best looking trucks I've seen in a long time. I'm going...
If you can't find a player ....
Go to the middle of Iowa. If you build it, it will come. Save 8-10K. Pay one reasonable doc fee and don't be harassed by the finance guy. You may "waste" a thousand or so miles of warranty driving it back, but if that bothers you, buy Granger's ESP for 50 over...
So when you go to the "ordertrack" website (the one where we checked our modules), does the shipping info under convoy ever populate? It has templates for freight, origin, destination, and status.
My truck is built and says it's in transit to Iowa, but I have nothing in those ordertrack boxes...
Man....
I've never been a "red car" guy, but man that red with the BAP looks sexy AF. Congrats on the gorgeous truck and enjoy it in health and safety!
Platinum guys with 702 kept the auto park right? The leather in the Platty and the KR are dang nice. I wanted to go Platinum but was at the end of my budget rope. I wanted it mainly for the body color bumper, but I'm going to throw some nice black milled wheels on my 502a to help tone it down...
Thanks @Snakebitten
I don't need even need to remove the oil filter, just looking to snap a magnetic wonder woman bracelet around it. Sounds like I'll be able to do it pretty easily when I pick up my truck.
I was planning on doing the same when I head to Granger in a few weeks (hopefully). However, a quick YT search on the PB oil filter may change my mind. It might not be accessible without removing a cover. Maybe it's a skid plate I don't have though , because I don't have the FX4 package...
Well shoot....
I actually called Gorilla directly and good thing. They didn't recommend either of those I was talking about. They gave a part number for some spline lug nuts, so I'll guess that's what I'll do. She was familiar with my wheels , so I'll just do what she said. 2 inches it is.
Thanks. In the ultimate microcosm of my life, they have been sitting in my garage for two weeks, and I just noticed they went on sale to "buy two get two free". My timing has been awful with all things this truck, but hopefully I will have it soon!!
Thanks for the input. Would the offset make a difference? Mine are plus +20
I suppose I could order both lengths online and just return the one I don't use. It's just hard because I will (eventually) just drop the truck off at Discount tire in the AM and pick it up when it's done. Hopefully...
