I have searched and searched and I haven’t been able to find a Ford dealer that installs the FP SC kit in NC. Has anyone had this kit installed in NC that you can recommend? I know that there are non-Ford dealers in the state but want to make sure that I can keep the warranty intact. Thanks in advance.

Both Whipple and Roush kits are a factory warrantied item if installed by an ASE certified mechanic. Ford Dealers can also install and are listed on the product website of approved installers. If you go to their website respectively, they list installers by state. Mine is about an hour away. Very much considering it but its not a high priority. I have myself too thin with my college kid, inground pool and vacation home. LOL. First world problems.

Thanks @brfertig. So using any of the installers listed on the respective pages still keeps the warranty without using an actual Ford dealership. Good to know.

I definitely recommend MTech Solutions. Here is his YT Channel. He has installed tons of them. His contact is on there.

Isn't the warranty only applicable if you have it installed upon delivery through the dealer?

I think ASE Certified works.

The dealer where I purchased my truck sells Roush vehicles but does not install blowers since they don’t have a tech certified to do that. I was told I can take it to any certified ASE certified mechanic and the remaining 3/36k warranty would still be intact as long as it is the standard Roush or FP700 kit with no additional modifications.

I have a local dealer who does both Whipple and Roush and I was informed if I took my 45k mile truck to install, no warranty is applicable.

I have never heard of it being so. Can't say how the rules have changed to date.

Neither Roush or Whipple have anything ready for 2024s yet. Maybe early/mid summer if they get bugs worked out. If you take delivery of a new 24 f150 with the notion of having one of those kits installed before kits are available, I would definitely get it in writing that it’s still under warranty if installed anytime after purchase. Might be awhile still, and verbal assurances don’t mean much, especially with a high personal turnover rates at car dealerships.

Did Ford discontinue the FP700 on 24's?

It's not discontinued as far as I know, but Whipple doesn't have the 2024 tune ready or approved as of yet.

From what I've heard, the super-charger kits are the same as the 2023, but the tune is completely different and that is the reason why both Roush and Whipple are giving early to late Summer availability estimates.

Kinda makes ya wonder what all tables they changed, also taking away E85 use as well.
