I don't see a lot of performance information about the subject kit. Does any one have it on their truck or know someone who does? It boasts 60TQ/30HP and a reduction in IAT. I read the marketing hype, but is 60TQ/30HP a lot? They worked with Ford on the calibration and upload via the ODB II, plus some other things. Seems sorta pricey, but individual component wise, IC=$800/$900, tuning=$800/$900 (ex. 5*, Livernois, OZ, etc.), CAI=200/300) so it doesn't seem crazy over priced 🤷‍♂️

Appreciate any feedback or thoughts....

I have it on mine. Got it when it was on sale before most of the other tuners were out yet. I’d say the HP gains are probably pretty accurate, however they are lower than most of your other tuners out there. The intercooler and intake are quality pieces. I’m happy with it, but if you want the most HP you can get you may want to look at some of the other tuners.

Thanks for that @Dbn23 . I'd rather stick with the Whipple tune. I like that they worked with Ford on it. You don't need to open the hood and violate the PCM. They have access to all the testing Ford did, including their durability testing.

Factory 3.5 EB
TQ=500
HP=400

Whipple 3.5 EB Kit
TQ=~560
HP=~430

If you read the line carefully, i dont think ford was involved.

Whipple and it's Ford calibration team

I read that as its whipple's ford calibration team, so people that work for whipple that are good/dedicated to ford calibration.

It does NOT say "Whipple and Ford's calibration team".

Just an observation!

Good catch, you are absolutely right. I contacted Whipple for clarification... "We work with a Ford QCM and factory tools to develop and release performance tunes. The bonus to this is, access to resources and data on the 3.5L Ecoboost, including durability testing, so we know how far we can push the hardware and maintain reliability." I hope I don't offend or break any rules for quoting, I'm only trying to help other potencial buyers.

I think Livernois does the same thing, it's how they are able to tune the transmission supposedly.
