300 mile roundtrip to France and back. Just above 20mpg. Kind of hard when limit is much higher (or absent) than the US. Basically, Cannot do the 65-70mph cruise. And mpg really takes a hit above that. Where I live it's either 100% city at 14mpg or autobahn. I don't hit that sweet outer city limit spot where the best mpg is. Still happy and plenty of power. If only there wasn't a speed governor limit...

I'm getting around 17.7mpg around town with a 3.73 diff........ Interestingly, the Ford ranger loaner I had for a few days while they figure out the issues on mine has a 4 cyl engine and is getting 17.8mpg....

I sure know which I prefer at that level of consumption..!

Try putting 93 octane in. Mileage will get better. Of course the trade off in cost isn’t worth it, but the mileage improves. My 2020 got 16-18 max. One of the reasons I got the 3.5.

FYI great overland mileage update:
Still getting like 16 mpg on road. But usually drive wide open throttle on streets n freeways. LOL
However did a few 50-75 mile multi day overland/off road runs and mileage has been great.
Desert sand, mountains, rocks, snow.
Those are mostly slow, like 10-15 mph low throttle creeps for hours. 25-35 mph cruising.
Running with Toyota 4 runners, FJ, Jeeps, Ranger, Raptor.
Ive lasted longer than some of them. I don't have the larger tank either.
So I'm super happy with V8 off road mileage.
May hit some dunes in Death Valley next month. Truck hauls butt in the sand with Nitto RG's, WOT, Baja style. So will prob use alot of gas then. We shall see.
Have planned fuel stop outside park on day 2 or 3, so were not bringing extra fuel.

I can't get more than 16 mpg, 70% in town, 30% highway, always ECO mode, smooth acceleration and braking, regular gasoline.
Everything stock, no lift, factory wheels, RCSB with trifold tonneau cover, 3.31 ratio, FX4, engine start/stop is always on.

I'm in normal mode, FX4, stock, Tow kit, 3.73 diff, 93 octane gas, NO start stop, tonneau cover, regular driving and get 17.7mpg around town and range between 21-24mpg on highway depending on whether in cruise mode or trying to go fast (overtaking)....

This weekend I did the same 300 mile trip that I did previously when my truck was stock. On the stock set up I got 20.9 mpgs and now on the new set up I was able to get 19.5 mpgs. Truck was in eco mode both times on 91 octane from Costco. Truck is a super crew 4x4 with 3.73 gears with tonneau cover. New setup is Bilstein 5100 leveling shocks and struts, muffler delete, and raptor take off 17 inch wheel and 35 inch tire combo. I also had the bed full of equipment and a passenger. Keep in mind that this is also just going off of the MPG calculator and I haven't adjusted it to the new wheel and tire combo which means I'm off a bit. I am beyond pleased with the mpgs I am able to get out of a full size 4x4 truck with 35s. The 5.0 coyote motor is awesome!
Am I misinterpreting your post? With adjustment for tire size wouldn't you be getting more than stock with 35s and a lift? Was the 20.9 during break in period?

Yes it was during break in period but also to be fair it wasn’t exactly an apples to apples comparison. The time I got 20.9 mpgs stock I hit way more traffic than I did after the 35s and lift and also I had 4 people in the car that time, the second trip it was only 2 people and lighter traffic. I’m sure it both trips had the same conditions, the stock setup would have given me slightly better results than I was able to get that trip.

I've now had this truck for 4 months.
The very best average mileage I've gotten is
16.0- Miles a gallon. I mean that's the best..
That's highway doing the speed limit
with cruise control set.
For the most part I average around
14.5 MPG combined city and highway.
Do I have a problem??
Trying to find out what others driving a V-8 are getting?
I did have an O/2 sensor go out at 800 miles,
So do I have another problem?
Appreciate any feed back I can get..
Thanks.....
20.5 around town and 24.0 highway 3:31 rear

Many factors affect fuel mileage including the rear axle ratio. A high axle ratio means the drive shaft makes more revolutions and therefore the engine works harder and uses more gas. "According to Truck Digest, going from a 3.55 axle ratio to a 3.73 will cost a quarter mile per gallon in the long run. This manifests itself on long hauls."

I currently have a '20 supercrew 6.5' box 3.5 EB.
2.5F/1R lift/level.
Running 22" Limited wheels w/heavy Toyo AT3 33" tires.
Getting ~ 15.25mpg. That's NOT hand calculated based off the truck reading with the 33" tires NOT adjusted/considered.
So, that tells me I'm getting worse mileage than what it appears.

Waiting on my '22 5.0 to arrive.
Supercrew 5.5' box.
This time I'm going to lower it 1F/3R, put on Ford 22" with Michelin highway tires. Yes, the wheels are 10-15lbs heavier than stock will be.
Either way, I figure I will be getting better mileage than I currently am and will update in the next month when I swap trucks.

Both my current and new get about a 50/50 mix of city and highway driving. I live near a major city so at times the highway traffic is just as bad as inner city driving.
