My guess is ford studied take rates, but I’d still prefer all options on the table for every trim. Not many optioned the 3.5 in the STX/XL and not many optioned the 5.0 in King Ranch/Platinum. The Tremor 5.0 has been a hit with a huge take rate, so Ford is going forward with the V8 Tremor after testing the waters in 2023. I think they underestimated demand for a V8 off-roader before. Yea lots of 5.0 and 3.5 now but they are weirdly split. Tow package on the STX also requires the 5.0 V8 and deletes the 2.7 EcoBoost. So most STX will be V8 now.Hmmm, weird with the motors! Glad to have my 5.0!
Limited has just been renamed to Platinum Plus.No sport package to be found. I’m so glad I did not wait and got my 23. Not a fan of chrome or a blackout package with black wheels.
Limited is gone, but I doubt they sold many of them.
CAFE is causing them to push the hybrid to get higher MPG in the CAFE testing procedures. It's not surprising to see platinum go hybrid only. This trend will continue. My guess is ford studied take rates, but I’d still prefer all options on the table for every trim. Here's their screen shot, far from all inclusive. My guess is it'd be very close to the new 250's since its all sync hardware.I have to dig deeper but it looks like the addition of the HUD is the only worthy change. I'll have to dig into what information it can display.
For the KR PB, the 30gallon tank is standard. B&P may just be screwed up, not the first time. Have to look for the order guide.Looks like the 30 gal tank and the trailer mirrors are missing for PB.
