To be fair, I haven't been paying attention to the other manufacturers, can you give examples of where other mfg's have either kept prices the same while losing content or increased prices and kept content?

You wouldn't happen to be Mary Barra here trolling everyone would you?:p
We ordered a 23 BMW X5 last month. $995 price increase from 22 model. Delivered in 3 weeks from BMW South Carolina plant.

MY23 Raptor increased base price by 1K. My 22 order in Dec was 81K and never got picked up. My 23 order is 86K. Now it's 87K. I finally received a vin with 11-31 build date. No word on MY23 price protection. I'm about to tap out!

I can't help but wonder if the low volume helps them keep up better, same with the Tundra

Yeah these '23's are either totally screwed, or the build and price feature is all bugged out.
-Can't even get a base lariat now (color matched door handles and mirrors with the 18" wheels). Forced to have the hideous chrome package.
- The secondary color is now carbonized grey? not stone grey?
- Tail lights look like XLT tail lights now.
- Looks like the 18's are gone on the king ranch as well.

Either way. With 4x4, King ranch is now only 4k more than a lariat. Guess it's time to upgrade.

My tundra never increased in price in the middle of a model year. It also never lost content.

they did raise prices, per the norm, from 22 to to 23 to the tune of 1k.

But ford already raised the model year prices. I ordered my raptor in July, it’s not 1k more in 3 months and now has one less features. I wonder what it will look like by delivery in 6-9 months
i've seen you on tundras.com Lol

I had ordered a 2023 but bailed on it for a late 2022 in transit.

The 2023 is $1000 more now.
My 2022 (just picked up a week ago) is $1900 more now (technically $1400, but Rapid Red was $495 and you can't get that color now apparently).

Yikes. I guess it's mind games. You want your 6-8k off? Suuure. 6k off is last year's msrp

The online B&P just reinforces and adds salt to the wound of the huge changes in offerings between 2022 and 2023 that were already evident in the Order Guide.

I can't 'replicate' my 2022 Lariat SuperCab at all and the closest available XLT 'high' SuperCab is a piss-poor substitute having much less in the way of features with a ~$3,000+ higher MSRP even without the Lariat features I got.

The luck of timing is everything, it's pure luck that I bought in 2022 and got the truck I truly want and love.

Nothing but huge sympathy and best wishes for folks now ordering.

Next years ‘24 small refresh will guarantee they use that as another excuse for a price increase

2022 Lariat 157wb
I’ve posted a similar thread elsewhere ...

Here’s my actual example:
Lariat (options in signature)
2022: $75.2k (doesn’t include power steps)
2023: $76.5k (does include power steps)
(Before recent $1k price increase)

it seems less optioned bumped in price or are forced to a higher option?
It depends on which of the three or four different 2022 price levels you are comparing to. My 2023 had late 2021 or maybe early 2022 pricing which only included one of those increases.

All of this makes my 21 PB Lariat 502A with copilot 360, Unleashed, sun roof, power tailgate with steps, 2.4 Propower, etc. an absolute steal for 64K! I feel like the value has only gone up with all of the price increases and option deletes. My truck just can’t be had anymore.
this was originally my bucket list truck for early retirement, but I came so close to bailing on it with the issues that I was having. Now that I’ve worked through them all, it is running the best it has since buying it. I am so glad that I stuck it out. I would not pony up the money they want now for this, not while at the same time losing key features.
I feel for those caught up in this mess. Yes they are first world problems, but still suck nonetheless.
For me anyway, but I will count my blessings, buy an ESP when the time comes, and hang onto this “last of its kind” for a good long time, and be grateful I got in under the wire!

yeah, it appears that Ford is dropping the Supercab for the Lariat trim. I saw this last night :(

I can’t seem to configure a base XLT 300A either. Only mid level as a minimum which I wouldn’t want for a work truck

also maybe I’m late to the game but no more power boost in XLT or XL?

Looks like I was over charged for the wheels on Larait High with Sport Appearance. In my build sheet that got me for $1500 for the wheels but on build and price it matches the build sheet where you get the black/grey wheels for $465 price change rather then $465 + $1500

Yes, I have a 501A (2022 with co-pilot assist), I was messing around with it and it was standard on the 502A. I think they just left it off of the B&P. I was messing around building an STX, and in the interior shots, there was no seats at all. I think there's just a lot of bugs to work out still
I have a ‘21 XLT with copilot assist 2.0, and on the B&P for the ‘23 it is not even an option. Even though the order guide posted shows it as optional. Many bugs whenever I visit B&P…

The other bug I noticed is if you go chrome with XLT, and option the center console for $295, it shows the console mounted shifter shadow
