i know it's an old thread, but i wonder if you can tie the fuel pump fuse to an auxiliary/upfitter switch? so to turn the fuel pump on, switch 1 or whatever number can be flicked on. easy access, hidden and easy to use.
I was a part of the VW TDI recall as well. Basically the cheat was found when someone put a TDI Jetta on a 4 wheel dyno and found that it made a ton more power. On the 2 wheel dyno it made much less. After investigating they found that certain Bosch sensors would bypass any emissions...
depends on your area. where i am in canada we get a lot of snow, so 4x4 is a must. had a fwd car, which even with winters it struggled in fresh snow on our street. talking about a foot or more of fresh. packed was fine. our awd volvo with winters did great. big issue was just clearance...
IMO, think of what you’ll be using it for. Hailing and towing, might be better off with the 3.5. Like a smooth NA type of power delivery with the v8 sound, go for that. Want a bit more power but don’t car for the v8 sound. Go for the 3.5.
I went for the 5.0 for the following reasons, sound...
Getting my 2023 tremor this week. Checked it out pre-pdi on Friday and it had 83miles or 134km on it.
Must have been quite the drive home and test. Hoping it’s top quality and solid for a long time.
for me, option 1 or option 2. i'd say option 2 mostly because it doesn't rub. not a huge fan of the sidewall tread. looks too beefy. but i do like the 18" size.
Looks like my Tremor is about to be shipped. Can't wait. Hoping it doesn't take too long to cross the border. I think it's one of the last build weeks before the 2024's start.
this is what sold me on the 5.0. hearing guys get over 700hp off the stock motor just brings relief to my ears. i don't plan on racing, selling or modding my motor so knowing it's strong and should last a long time is why i choose it. other wise i'd just go the 3.5 that was on the lot and...
i got the spray in liner from the factory. will eventually get in a bed mat (non-carpet) because i hate for stuff to be sliding around. like having skis slide and bang around will destroy the edges and scrape the bed unnecessarily. will probably have some straps or what not to to help secure.
can't remember, does the seat bottom lock when it's up?
also, i remember doing 3 hour drives when i was younger in my parents 3 row durango. my brother and i would fold the middle row down, stuff pillows in the foot wells and sleep the whole drive.
this is why i love ford performance and what ford is doing. stock trucks doing the tough stuff like the baja 1000. what other manufacturer does this? i mean, i think porsche might have put a stockish gt3 (gt3 cup cars are almost street ready) in le mans. all other companies only use...
