Hey guys,
Got my raptor 801a B&O unleashed a couple months ago, just added a Kicker l7R 10" in a fox box. Absolute banger best sub & box I've put in any of my f150's (atleast for the low-end bass response I'm looking for). Now the problem. As much as I'd like to buy a plug n play setup from the guys @SoundsGoodStereo, not quite the time yet, maybe soon... those guys are awesome very knowledgeable and helpful... But now that I have added a sub, using the factory subwoofer connection routed to an lc2i to a Kicker 1200.1 @ 4ohms, tuned to the best of my ability (sounds actually really good with the unleashed system when using tidal hifi). Problem is even with the lci2 tuned accubass etc. The volume of the sub drops off significantly when the vehicle is in motion... grounds/wiring are all superb 4guage routed straight to the battery subs wired in parallel no problem there, tested the setup in my other f150 and no problem there either. I also started looking at forscan settings to see if i could set the subwoofer output to vref 1-4 volt, but the factory settings show subwoofer as unused. I've looked around and noticed this is a more common problem when just adding a subwoofer. Has anyone found a solution to only adding a subwoofer to B&O unleashed and not getting the drop-off in volume from the sub? Is it possible flattening the EQ or disabling the 3 ANC microphones is a solution, should i switch to a different speaker output? Just curious if someone has found an answer, I may just play around with some of the forscan settings. I will post an update if I can find the solution. Just hoping someone else already has.
Thanks
