Hey guys,

Got my raptor 801a B&O unleashed a couple months ago, just added a Kicker l7R 10" in a fox box. Absolute banger best sub & box I've put in any of my f150's (atleast for the low-end bass response I'm looking for). Now the problem. As much as I'd like to buy a plug n play setup from the guys @SoundsGoodStereo, not quite the time yet, maybe soon... those guys are awesome very knowledgeable and helpful... But now that I have added a sub, using the factory subwoofer connection routed to an lc2i to a Kicker 1200.1 @ 4ohms, tuned to the best of my ability (sounds actually really good with the unleashed system when using tidal hifi). Problem is even with the lci2 tuned accubass etc. The volume of the sub drops off significantly when the vehicle is in motion... grounds/wiring are all superb 4guage routed straight to the battery subs wired in parallel no problem there, tested the setup in my other f150 and no problem there either. I also started looking at forscan settings to see if i could set the subwoofer output to vref 1-4 volt, but the factory settings show subwoofer as unused. I've looked around and noticed this is a more common problem when just adding a subwoofer. Has anyone found a solution to only adding a subwoofer to B&O unleashed and not getting the drop-off in volume from the sub? Is it possible flattening the EQ or disabling the 3 ANC microphones is a solution, should i switch to a different speaker output? Just curious if someone has found an answer, I may just play around with some of the forscan settings. I will post an update if I can find the solution. Just hoping someone else already has.

Thanks

Hey Zach, can you send me the VIN number? Want to see if you have an ANC on in the DSP section of the ASBUILT.

Update! Using the information provided by SoundsGoodStereo regarding a line located in the DSP Module, we disabled ANC by using the following line change (before: 783-01-01 F40D 800D) (after: 783-01-01 E40D 800D) Voilà!!! No more uncontrollable bass roll-off! It appears it was all being caused from the B&O DSP level ANC programming. Hope this helps others, I've seen a few threads with people having similar problems. Shoutout to Don @SoundsGoodStereo for finding the solution. Already ordered an amp rack from them, & sub blockout plate just to tidy up my situation until I can order a full PnP package from them!

So would making this change, with the factory sub still, help it perform better?

@SoundsGoodStereo Would like to know if there is an option for regular B&O system (non unleashed) 8 speaker setup? My 783-01-01 is currently C60D 80DF

Have not tried it, but if I owned this truck with the UnLeashed, I would try it out. It's not going to hurt anything, but you might struggle with controlling the output/volume of the factory subwoofer.

Your truck is set to ANC off. One option we are going to try is turning the EQ off on the factory amplifiers. Not sure what will happen, but curious..It's the 783-02-01 code, first two digits

Hmmm... Not matching up to the spreadsheet options. On the sheet 00 is "Unconfigured" which means flat EQ.. If you want to try it, just remember your factory settings.

Next one we get in, we will hook up the RTA and make a few changes to see what exactly it does.

I'm having this same issue, my configurations don't match any of the spreadsheets that I have found. @SoundsGoodStereo, Any updates on what I should change to prevent the bass roll off? Happy to help work with you guys to figure these settings out for the next guy too!

Did you ever figure this out? I have the same values on mine and am wondering how to just flatten my EQ.
