[NY Cowboy]

I basically listen to sat./radio and no sound from any of the speakers except the front center top dashboard. The audio setting on on Sound sound not stereo. Any suggestions or will I need to bring it in to the dealer?

Its my understanding that most of the speakers will not work with sat radio in surround mode. There is too much compression. Some say it will work better in stereo mode.

Personally, with the unleashed, You need to listen to HD content if you want the speakers to work. Amazon HD radio, Tribal for sure. I'm not sure it pandora or Spotify offer an HD service.

Sounds like you have a bad amp if you are only getting sounds from the center speaker. You should get sound from all the speakers regardless to the stereo/surround setting.

You can always try to do a master reset of the Sync system to see if that fixes the problem.

Mine is the same. I think it’s just the way the B&O system is designed.

I can’t tell a significant difference between stereo and surround, but moving the sound field back toward the middle of the cab helps.

Satellite is terrible for sound quality. It’s a limitation of the technology. I’d use a high quality steaming service, like Apple or Tidal, when judging the quality of the system.

I find some songs are more center heavy and others not so bad. Maybe the mixing of the songs comes into play too.

I have unleashed and I get sound from all the speakers regardless of source or stereo/surround setting. As should you. Also note* that the sound does get better depending on the source though.

Also check your fuses for that matter. Many people have found fuses not pushed in all the way.

Everybody else is correct though, check the fuses, try a much better audio source, try restarting Sync 4. The Unleashed is very front center heavy even in surround unless you adjust the fader just behind the front seats.

My unleashed is set to surround. I get sound from all the speakers whether using XM, USB stick, CarPlay, or HD Radio.

Just double checking, you pressed and held these two buttons together and nothing happened? I'd try resetting the sync 4 and if that doesn't work you might need to try the dealer.

Interesting, I'd make sure all your fuses are seated properly, over half of mine were loose, then I'd reset Sync 4 https://www.ford.com/support/how-to...n and Seek Right,continue with a master reset.

The 18 speaker system powers the Rear doors speakers and front tweeters from the Audio Control Module and all the others powered by the DSP on the back wall behind the driver side rear seat. If only the center is playing that is strange.
