2. Purchased a 10y/100K extended warranty from Granger. Thank you for the great deal @Granger Ford !

3. Added chrome tailgate lettering. I have the Carbonized Gray w Sport Appearance Pkg, and the Chrome lettering pops very nicely against the gray to nicely compliment the Ford emblem. I don't like overdoing chrome, but this looks tops.

Good luck if you try to get one of the battery insulation covers. I ordered but dealer says they don't know when it will actually be in. They were on backorder for a while.

I might look at an aftermarket cover. The OEM one didn't fare so well against the local wildlife.

I feel like I looked at every option out there, and there are many, with pros and cons. I finally settled on these, purchased directly from Ford (SKU: VML3Z9942528A).

Although they are sold by Ford, they're made by Putco. Polished stainless steel. Ford's accessories site also sells stickers.

I think any material will be tasty to them. Battery in my truck didn't have any insulation on it. Can't say that contributed to it's shorter lifespan or not. I've never used insulation on past vehicle batteries.

Replaced the rear license plate lights with LEDs from F150 LEDs. Easy install and perfect match with the rest of the LEDs on the zone lighting that turns on when approaching the truck.
