My 2020 had a bit of a V gap bumper to bodyside, like yours seem to have...or maybe just the camera angle. I sold before getting around to trying seeing if it was possible to adjust. My 2022 is closer to parallel. So here’s my results so far with going with the Tremor style Bumper on my 2022 XLT.
My XLT only came with 4 sensors and the Tremor requires two more on the OUT side of the bumper
Sensor Retainer Part # Driver ML3Z 15C873 BAPTM
Part # Passenger ML3Z 15C872 BAPTM
NOW, here’s the tricky part, the rear Corner Sensors get moved up and more in the corner (see pics below), when I take my factor sensor retainer and trim it like mentioned, it doesn’t exactly “fit” cause there is a slight bend and it won’t sit flush. There is gonna be a flat piece that won’t curve. So I’m currently trying to get correct Tremor Sensor Retainer from dealer instead of trimming factory one and “making” it work. OCD at work here.
Different retainers should be here Thursday.

sorry...
I do like the look.
I was able to get mine in by trimming them. I know what you're saying about the way it sits, but the sensor works properly and it's not enough to trigger my OCD. I ordered the correct sensor retainer and they've been sitting at the body shop painted for weeks now, but I don't care enough to pick them up to swap them. I am going to wait until I do my Tremor front skid plate conversion and I'll have them swap them out for me when they install the skid plate.Yeah I installed the bumper myself and I think it’s just the angle. The factory bumper angle was worse.
I’m just trying to figure out the corner sensor retainers. I’m wondering if I can heat them up and put a slight bend to them without breaking them
Cool. Doing a tremor sid plate mod too? Curious to see how that goes.I was able to get mine in by trimming them. after all said and done... how much did this modification cost you? looks so goodWell, I finally got it done last week and wanted to post my findings to make it easier for anyone else who may be thinking of doing this. Here are the pics, and I have to say I absolutely LOVE how the truck came out. It a damn shame I had to spend all this time and money getting this done to my truck. This is how it should come from factory, IMO. Anyway, you will need the two bumper end caps (P/N ML3Z-17906-LAPTM) and two supplemental brackets (P/N ML3Z-17788-A and ML3Z-17787-B). The end caps will come unpainted, so keep in mind that you'll have to get them painted to match your truck. Swapping out the end caps is relatively easy to do and anyone that can turn basic hand tools should be able to do it. Notice in the pics that two of the back-up sensors get relocated further out towards the end of the bumper. This presented a challenge when it came to putting it back together because the wiring was barely long enough for the sensor to be put in the new location, but after playing with the wiring down there, I was able to get it to reach without having to splice into the factory wiring harness to make it longer. Like superfordman said, you will need to cut off and smooth down a tab on the sensors to fit in the sensor housing, but it is very easy to do. The Tremor has a different P/N for the trailer hitch, but you do not need to change the hitch; everything will line up and bolt up with the non-Tremor hitch.
When we were done, I took the truck to a muffler shop to get the exhaust tips raised and properly aligned to the exhaust cut-outs on the bumper. My exhaust is made by MBRP, but I am guessing any exhaust out there is going to run into the same problem mine did when it came to this part of the process. The exhaust could not simply be raised in place because it would have resting against the suspension. The muffler shop had to cut off the last few feet of both of the dual exhaust exits and make custom ones they bended into shape to allow the exhaust to clear the suspension and fit the tips nice and flush to the new bumper. This was the only modification required to do this, and the modification was done to the aftermarket exhaust itself and not to the truck.
Another member here did a write up on it. That's where I got the idea. It looks awesome.Cool. Doing a tremor sid plate mod too? Curious to see how that goes.
I was on vacation last week and just saw your message. I reached out to my contact at Ford and will PM you the P/N when he gets back to me. I'll add it to my post, too.Sent you a PM
Thanks! I work in the business, so I got all the parts at cost. I think the parts cost me between $500-$600. My in-law manages a body shop at a Ford dealer, so he got me the end caps painted at no cost. Figure it's going to cost you $1,000+ if you buy the parts at retail and need to paint them.after all said and done... how much did this modification cost you? looks so good
I believe those are from the 2020 F150 Limited that came with duals from factory. I am not sure if they will fit.Does anyone know if this bumper assembly will fit our 2022 Lariats KL3Z-17906-EAPTM ?
Dual exhaust cut outs as well minus the additional sensor cut outs on the side.
They would but then you'd need a matching top step pad to go with it since they are different between the generations, along with different/matching sensor bracket housings as well.I believe those are from the 2020 F150 Limited that came with duals from factory. I am not sure if they will fit.
