Traded in the ‘21 XLT for a ‘22 Lariat

yikes! you don't have the front sensors???? My brother in law has a 21 lariat with the tow tech and co pilot 360 and he has the front sensors............

Well, I usually know what I am talking about but I am getting old so I went out to the truck to make sure I don't make a fool out of myself:
No, I di not have front sensors on my 21' Lariat 502A with Tow Tech Package. I am furious.

You will not get the sensors by adding 360 and tow tech.

you have to add 360 active, but it requires tow tech and 360..

You need to add the 360 Co Pilot Active to get them

There were a few mistake trucks that got them without, but if you have not selected the active option, youre not getting them.

Got lucky and was able to sell my ‘21 XLT with 22,xxx miles for close to what I paid for it. Was able to upgrade to a ‘22 Lariat and keep my payment the same ordered 1/4/2022 arrived at dealership 4/4/2022…
I’ll post more photos in a few days after I’ve installed the tires and other mods that I have. For now here is the Lariat and the XLT…

You can only get the active 2.0 in the 502a which, mine is a 501a...

Doesn't surprise me at all.
As @MTNMN said " There were a few mistake trucks " - how the hell can a manufacturer like Ford have "mistake trucks"?? I also did not get 4-way headrests when I have clearly seen them in other 502A months before ordering, and according to a "survey" that I did here some have it (including XLT), some don't. They just seem to put whatever the hell they want on the trucks regardless of the actual specs.

99% of trucks wont have it without active..

@MTNMN - I believe you are confusing two things: Park assist and Parking Sensors. The Park Assist is where the truck parks itself automatically. The sensors are not necessarily tied to the automatic parking, they can be used for proximity, like in the reverse sensing system. IMO the automatic parking is using the 360 cameras, not the sensors (or perhaps not just the sensors).

LOL I am not confusing them.

I sold Ford for years and know the product inside and out.

I know what the parking sensors are and they are included in the 360 active package as both of the order guides I posted above reflect.

As I said some trucks got them without that package as they were short on the NON Sensor bumpers and just put them in to keep the line moving.

There are 301 & 302A's that have them as well.

Yes, FORD is MESSED UP! But I called my district manager to get clarification....I know what the order guide says HOWEVER, this is what my Ford rep just relayed to me....

On a 500a and 501a Lariat you will receive the front sensors if you have the co pilot assist 2.0 paired with either the tow tech or 360 degree camera package......that is right from the horses mouth.

These order guides are a joke, I never really look at them myself because they are just that, a guide, they aren't the bible. When i go in to the Ford order bank I can definitely add things that the order guide would normally say I couldn't do.....

Seems odd, but this is correct, and if you move up to the 502A you LOSE the front sensors that are on the 402, 500, and 501 21's, unless you get BlueCruise - which is why I ordered a 501A. The order guide even mentions that the 502a's don't get the front sensors. However, even though the 22 order guide says the same thing, I saw 502a 22's that came in with front sensors, but also w/o Bluecruise. So apparently they fixed the f/u but didn't update the guides. Had I known that, I may have considered a 502, but who knew?
