This is on my to do list as well. I got tired of waiting to get the tremor caps though and went ahead and put my 2nd gen raptor caps on instead along with the matching upper step pad. Everything went on just fine without a hitch. These should be no different as well, but you also need the 17787 brackets in the above picture because those bumper support brackets are different when you have the exhaust cutouts. Same deal for the raptor caps, the brackets for them need to be used but they mount to the hitch all the same.

I’ve been debating doing this to get the tremor or raptor style exhaust. I’d like to have a quiet powerboost in generator mode but I want that exotic sound while driving around.

May be able to spec the new BAP bumper parts as well now.
They may be the same as the Tremor though. Not sure...

Yep they would be, looks like you can actually get the tremor bumpers now but they run about $500+ just for the cover piece, then you'll need the new bracket as well which comes and goes in availability seems like.

Here is what you'd need for the bumper piece and most of these can be found second hand now for pretty cheap seems like. Plus second hand it seems like most come with the bumper plus mount bracket already attached, with bolts and nuts. Keep in mind these are 17-20 Raptor parts so you need the old style step pad as well. You also need the reverse sensor retainers as well because the 21+ style are different and don't fit.

Was just looking through the part #’s, will my factory sensors not work in the new bumper? Did you attempt that?

Yes*, you can reuse the sensors like I did, they just take a little modification is all, you need to cut off and smooth down a tab on the sensors to fit in the older housing, but once you do they they fit perfect.

Where did you source the raptor rear section for the exhaust? Can we get more pics up close and from the back showing the different angles of the rear end? Thank you.

I got the whole exhaust second hand, they are pretty easy to find and cheap with half the Gen2 raptor owners going with aftermarket setups. With that being said, it looks exactly like a oem Gen2 raptor setup from the rear. Here are a few threads where others have done the same.

I was trying to order the primered end caps for my powerboost to paint match the rear because I have chrome and the dealer used the last 8 of my VIN but it pulled up the Tremor end caps with the exhaust cut outs. I'm thinking about trying to use these end caps but I'm not sure if a dual exhaust will fit the powerboost.. Anyone have any experience?

Did you end up going through with this? I am on the same mission. I ordered the end caps, and found out after the fact that the tow hitch on the Tremor has a different P/N than non-Tremor trucks, and part of the end caps supposedly mount onto the hitch.

Note the end caps below. The top one is obviously from the Tremor which I ordered. The upper attachment tab on the Tremor bumper has three holes drilled for attachments and the regular one only has two. The lower attachment tab on the Tremor bumper is very small with only one hole right next the exhaust cut out, but the regular F150 bumper has a long tab with three attachments points.

The only way we will know if I need to order the hitch is once they get painted and we try to put it on. However, I am hoping someone has already tried this and can tell me if I need to order the Tremor tow hitch or not. It is almost $400 at dealer cost and it cannot be returned, so I only want to buy it if I absolutely need to.
