I just hope that gleaning the content leads to improvements in after purchase, as well as future products.
Before the information age, I participated in a couple of in-person customer focus groups for a manufacturing company.
The amount of resources in time and money invested for the return they got pales in comparison to what that same company could accomplish with the networking tools of today.
Ford would be foolish not to.
