Power-Up 4.2.1. OTA software update installed today

Again, I'll caution everyone that issues CAN and HAVE happened, with Ford releasing updates that completely render trucks undriveable, damage components to the point that they need replacement, and more. There is VERY REAL RISK of installing these updates.

If it happens Ill get it fixed. I always have.

As of now there are no updates available for any F150 that cause issues

Is this the update to fix the 2023 TCU problems?

It may.. I cant say for sure about that

I take mine to the dealer on the 23rd for my 3rd APIM. This time the GPS isn’t working. I’m in FL and the NAV says I’m outside of the FORD HQ in Dearborn MI. Maybe I’ll get 4.2.1 when the put in the new one.

Weird, why are all of the top buttons together? Is that a different screen or something?

You mean the buttons above the screen? That’s the auto shut off/cameras/park assist/hazards/traction control/hill decent control

They may not have configured it. Does the Ford boot logo fill the whole screen?

That or they may not have connected the gps antenna

Would have to look and see if you want DTC

It's on BC trucks. They get different buttons and trims because the IR sensors are on each side of the button row.

The Ford boot does cover the whole screen when it boots. I added the 75th splash screen.

Ok, cool. Ill take a look and see if there was anything that stands out.

You may also reset the gateway. So many things can affect teh GPS on these.

2021 and 2022 have the same GWM (@Jesse-Infotainment correct me if I am wrong), so 2021 will be getting it, too. For now, it seems like only early access members are getting it.

Yea. 21-22 have same gateway and software. There are variations of software for power boost

it seems to be very limited roll out right now.

I’m sure it will start to roll out more within a few weeks
