(Jan 21) Report on 2021 F-150 Production Update and Constraints

Since my truck was just in route and not here yet Shannon (my order guy) sent me this without even asking for it. Good guy! Looks like some Max Tow and work surface is still available.

I got the 5.0 v8 in my truck it went into production yesterday lucky me I guess lol

Hmm...I feel for you guys who pre-ordered and are still waiting. I don't think I could sit through the wait. I just searched and searched for in stock F150 with what I wanted....willing to pay for additional options if they made sense (2kwh gen/tailgate step) and picked up a few days later....50 mile drive later..she was mine!

This has kept me busy (and a bit irate) all of December and thru Jan.
Just have to remove box and replace fuel pump/sender (sender quit on impact)
I am 47 days and the other guy’s insurance just sent the check.
My favorite truck, and it will continue to be my favorite.
Ugly as it may be, I am attached to it.
5.7, 5spd, front and rear lockers, and rides nicer than my Ranger ever thought of.

My2/1 day got moved to 2/3 monday

Thanks for the update @currybob. As a long time lurker on this forum, these are some of my favorite posts. I'll be happy when you finally get your truck but sad that we won't be getting these updates anymore haha.

Am I correct in assuming that No Availability for this version of the 18" 6-spoke wheels means that no Lariat Sport builds will be picked up this week?

I searched a 200 mile radius and couldn’t find one optioned similar to how I wanted. Luckily I have a build date for a week or so away. I don’t mind waiting for getting what I want. I plan on keeping this for 10+ Years, what’s a month or two extra wait in the grand scheme of things. Cant even tow my boat until it starts warming up anyways!

Am I correct in reading that you currently can't get certain engine options with black platform running boards? What does one have to do with the other?

None of my options appear to be on that list of unavailable items so come on VIN!

Not all engines are installed at both plants. Looks like one plant is out of running boards.
