I see, thanks for the response @rugedraw. so a particular module update may not be tied to a particular OTA update version then? I'm really just curious how long this DCACA module update has been available since it fixed a propower issue that Ford reps and dealerships have refused to acknowledge...
I followed along with this thread the entire time it was going because I had the exact same issue with my 2021 Job 1 truck (3/2021 build) and miter saw (as well as some other 15a tools). It was even more annoying since I have a 5 year old Dewalt DW715, which is almost the exact same saw Ford...
Took my truck to the dealership the other day and they say they've updated all the modules. Would you guys mind checking my VIN when you get a chance please?
VIN: 1FTFW1ED9MFB18464
Just to confirm some of the other information I've seen in this thread and for anyone interested... the service...
Would someone mind checking my VIN for pending module updates and OTA update failures? I have a 2021 Job 1 truck that has had some issues with OTA updates in the past, but I believe it very recently got (at least somewhat) caught up. On the module side, I'm curious to see if there are pending...
Mine is wrong in the other direction, but we're stuck on the same update version in the app.
2.4.1 in the app (Feb 11)
2.4.5 in the truck
I actually sent an email to the early access team thinking it may be something to do with early access updates not syncing correctly. Never heard back...
My Job 1 truck (built March 2021, enrolled in EA) seems to be stuck at 2.4.5 as well. I got the 2.4.x set of updates pretty quickly after the "Final Steps to Bluecruise" email, but have been stuck trying to get the 2.5.1 update this last week. Same unsuccessful update message as above on both...
You definitely got the short end of the stick, but at least it's moving. I'm 2300 mi from Dearborn, estimated transit time was 20 days, and I think it took 24-25. I hope they get you your truck in short order.
I posted the instructions in my last long rambling post, copied here for convenience:
My 12/10/2020 order was finally delivered yesterday (7/12/2021). 7 months and 2 days.
Couple of random things:
1. The tracker didn't say delivered until today. I imagine this is due to the (known) aggressive caching it's doing. Which makes the tracker pretty useless in my opinion. Bug your...
I suspect that Ford's shipment tracking is all sorts of messed up at present, especially for the purgatory group that they seem to be trying to get out the door now. That being said, my tracker has seemingly been updating correctly, current status is `In Transit` with ETA of 7/11-7/17. I don't...
Congrats. Similar situation here except it takes a lot longer for trucks to get to California (shipped 6/18, ETA 7/11-717). My second order also got pushed to the 8/2 build week. First truck should be here in a week or two. So that means at least another couple months or so to wait for the...
I couldn't even post a reply in that thread I was so angry.
Can you imagine if you went into the dealership to buy a new $60-90k vehicle and the dealer said "ok, so you have 2 equally good options... you can receive the truck in 8 weeks... or you can wait 8 months and, get this, we'll throw in...
I think I read somewhere that transit date is the estimated number of days to deliver to your area. However, unless I've gotten a lot worse at math, mine doesn't add up to either the start or end eta, so.. pass the crazy pills?
I'm kind of in this boat now. My first truck's ETA is 7/17, and just found out my second order is scheduled for the 7/26 build week. If there are no delays on the second order, I would expect the second truck to get delivered a few weeks after the first one. Deal is about the same for either...
As far as I know... If the order date on the tracker is in April, then the order was submitted by the dealership in April, regardless of when your dealership told you they were submitting it. It's the "receiptDate" in the raw data for the tracker. So that would be the order date as far as...
Mine did the same thing. Went from 10/31 ETA to this:
Then to this a day or two later:
Congrats to everyone who is seeing movement finally. Hope we see the entire build week cleaned up in the very near future.
Mine was 3/15 blend, 3/17 in production for another data point.
The regional Ford rep that I've been talking to said that they went and found my truck in particular to release it the other day. This came after I said that it was quite the coincidence that this happened within a week of placing...
