Managed to squeeze one more update out of them because my truck has still not arrived from the rail yard.

Looking like some real shortages again for this week scheduling. Those that have gotten scheduled dates will be Ok and be glade.

Looks like they are selling these things way faster than they can be produced.

FIRST on the last coveted update!

Thank you for getting us one more! If I have a scheduled week, but not a hard date, do you think I’ll be okay?

You will be fine. When they scheduled a build they lock up the parts needed for that build. What was your build week again?

That’s what I was anticipating, I think I’m kinda getting the rhythm of this whole scheduling and commodities thing!

2/1/21 like a lot of us on here. Seems like that will be a big build week, which is a slight reason I’m worried for a delay.

So, after all of this waiting, I realized that the payload on a max tow powerboost was low, and that the value of the tow mirrors isn’t worth the cost (1500 for mirrors and less payload)... was going to delete max tow and mirrors and go tow tech, upgrade to 7.2kw and add the tailgate package... The dealership had good info, but since my truck is “sent to plant” I would have to do a new order. I am/was considering it, but now seeing all of these commodity issues, I don’t want to wait another 4-6 months... I will still be happy with my truck, and the good news is it’s scheduled for 1/22!

that is also why they running out of parts now too. Lol

They have 2 plants running wide open and I bet on OT too. That eats a lot of parts up.

Tim, did your dealer clear up if you are paying the original $1350 for Max Tow Package, or are you paying the new after 12/23/2020 $2000 price?

He says he won’t know until the invoice is generated which means I probably have to pay and I’m going to consider not buying it and I’m not kidding. Just out of principle.

Man, shound like some shady stuff going on. Agree that any additional tracking (GPS) makes no sense at all. During my truck negotiations the dealer told me upfront that they added this guard film protectant- which is only alone door edges and space under the door handles - where light scratches end up esp my wife's fingernails. I'm ok with it - since he physically showed me on a 2020 where it's applied.

Thanks, Bob (& everyone). I ordered my PB Platty 2nd week of December. Looks like I've got a loooong wait ahead of me.
