I signed papers on mine yesterday and used a $3,500 PCO that I was offered. When I ordered, the offer was $2,000 but when I signed papers it was $3,500 so they gave me the greater of the two, which was nice.
My dealership does it for the same price as it would come from the factory. I'm sure it's a way for them to make an extra few bucks and that's fine with me considering it's the same price. I've got friends and family that work at the dealership so I'm happy to support them however I can.
I agree with your perspective, I wasn't trying to argue the value of the differences in the two trims, my apologies. I'll try to better clarify... Bluntly, I don't understand questioning the "value" of anything up in those trim levels. Obviously we don't want to pay for things we don't want or...
So I ordered a 702A for a couple of reasons. With 702A you get CCD, B&O unleashed, pano sunroof, and HUD. I also got the 22" wheels. King Ranchers correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe you can get a non two-tone King Ranch in MY 24. Lastly, I know many people love the King Ranch interior...
Doing some research I have not been able to find a higher trim truck that's been delivered anywhere with a blend date earlier than March 7th. A couple platinum's I've found have blend dates and delivery dates that are within 10 days of each other. Doesn't make any sense :(
