I work in trucking and the men always have pickup trucks to run their businesses and it's nothing to see 300K+ on a truck.

Vehicles usually expire due to abuse, accidents, rust, etc. as opposed to just wearing out.

When I was young and racing motorcycles and traveling a lot, I put 450K on an '88 Nissan 4 cylinder truck and it was totally fine when I sold it.

High mileage on any work vehicle is very common.
We have a fleet Ford V-10 trucks at work, many with 500k+ on them, all 2009-2010 models.
Random self-destruct mode activates occasionally.
Engines tend to stop working when they throw parts out the bottom and oil all over interstate. :)

I don’t think there are any motors out there that won’t go 200k regardless of perfect maintenance or just okay maintenance. I see these threads and snicker. This isn’t 1970.

Yep my last 5.4 3-valve (known as the worst engine ever) is still running around at 250,000 miles just fine and shows no signs of slowing down.
