I think a lot of us need to hold judgment until we actually experience one. It’s not too much like ford to add something that doesn’t take a previous manufacturers option to the next level. I’ve had the step on every truck since it came out, and love it. However, I now have the Poverty Model...
I think Fords idea is you buy the rear step with the tailgate. Then you open one side of the tailgate and use the other 1/2 as a hold to step up into the bed.
What it’s used for has no bearing. It’s the truck trim image. The KR is nothing of what it used to be. I’ve had 3, and the first was the real leather rig. Ford is just getting cheap. Plastic covered (capped) wheels, vinyl interior marketed to imply leather (only seating surfaces, of course)...
Eeeew! Those wheels are hideous. Because nothing says outdoors, mud, and horse shit like a set of ghetto chrome fan wheels! Nice job Ford. How about y’all get back to work building real trucks.
Principal reduction doesn’t register with the type of loan the Ford Flex Buy is. There is no option to change the terms on and after the 37th month. Frankly, I don’t think Ford offers me enough information to effectively calculate the two sets of amortizations except the 1.9% interest rate...
Ford can’t seem to understand what I’m looking for.
Does anyone have an Excel file for an amortization schedule that fits the Ford Flex Pay Plan?
My Mom and sister just bought new Explorers on the Flex Pay, and they’d like to play with payment options to possibly cut down time and interest...
IMO, the dealer has a lot of guts putting that big abortion on the rear window. I’d have told them to remove it before I drove off. Not like it’s 2” x 5”.
Glad to hear about the engraving. The way Ford is cheapening these trucks up, by the time I get my next new King Ranch again, it’ll have...
I’m a little bummed. No interior changes from my 2022 King Ranch. Have you counted the 160+ snakes on the truck yet? Does it still have the King Ranch entrance “engraved” on top of the dash center stack?
Is mirror glare really a thing? In a couple million miles, I’ve not experienced this that I recall. Maybe I’m not “seeing” it.
Regardless, I’d be in on blind spot elimination to avoid paying for BLIS. Right now I cure that with $6 spot mirrors. When are they coming for 2023 Factory tow mirrors?
These threads are making me curb my thoughts of another King Ranch after I burn up this new STX. Fed up with the asinine costs to buy, the repair parts, all the new black plastic, the reduction in quality, all while the prices skyrocket.
My Lightning had ONE of three or four modules puke that...
I just picked up my 2023 STX about 12 days ago. After about 1,200 miles and two fill ups, I’m netting just about 23mpg with the little 2.7L. I was surprised bucking a stiff headwind in Iowa last weekend, I still pulled 19.5. My past 3.5L’s wouldn’t come close. I tried the eco-mode for a...
Yes, contradictory. I think for the first EV truck Ford built, they knocked it out of the park. Design, quality, ride, suspension, charging (yes, the truck charges quickly on Fast chargers), etc.
I drive alot. Yes, it’s my commuter. But I use a truck, too. Not for my daily job, but for my...
I agree with what you have said. Frankly, there is a lot of “news” that is incorrect. The wear on tires, the time to charge, the range, etc. I talked with more people in my Lightning travels that were so thankful for the real world information I could provide. It’s really not that bad as the...
I love reading posts on the Lightning since I owned one. Most who post about them don’t know anything about the Lightning except what they read in the media. And that is so skewed.
I agree, an all battery truck is not where it’s at. In addition, you really need to put miles on to make it...
OP, sorry, but you need to stop being so passive. 130 days? You must not really care about driving loaners if you are willing to just let this go so long. At what point will YOU start raising hell?
Sorry to be blunt, but at some point, you are just as responsible if you as a paying consumer...
