Very interesting.

Just stumbled upon a video uploaded a day ago showing off a ‘23 powerboost 3.5 lariat 502A /BAP. What’s odd is, it must be an early ‘23 because it does NOT have dual exhaust. It’s single side exit. However it DOES have a heated steering wheel….

Also the MSRP for it is $76k. It has quite a bit more high dollar options then my 502A with BAP, but my MSRP is 78k (I ordered back in August).

Good catch. It‘s not centered in the cutout of the bumper. Not even close.

Well, the question seems to have been answered, but here is another picture of a 2023 Platinum BAP 4x4 and it has duals exhaust. This truck was delivered in December 2022.

My truck is almost identical to this one and was shipped yesterday.

I believe someone has already shown it is dual from the muffler on the Powerboost. Purely cosmetic. But nice cosmetic.

Just a couple of things to consider for the dual exhaust.

1. It is a nice look but cosmetic only.
2. If you are interested in a drivers side Amp Research step up for the back bumper, this may interfere with it.
3. If you work from the tailgate and have the truck running a lot it will be venting right to the back and not the side.

Nothing here is earth shattering but that #2 could be big if you pass on the bed package that gets the tailgate step. I have that tailgate step but I am still going to get the Amp Research step too. It is great when the tailgate is up.

For the record it is not a true dual exhaust. It is single back to the muffler then splits after the muffler. Still a nice look.

Is the dual exhaust the same as on the non PB? I thought there was something to do with a heat exchanger involved with the exhaust

I believe the heat exchanger on the PowerBoost is located on the intermediate pipe along with the resonator. However, I do not know if there are any other differences beyond that point that would require different pipe routing on the PowerBoost.

Thanks, picking up a 22 PB BAP tonight, and I wanna install the dual exhaust. Looks like I have more research to do. Or just find a 23 PB BAP
