That is impressive! It's definitely where the PB can shine, local trips. I have had a bunch of 24-30MPG trips since I posted my last pictures. I have had 1 trip under 24 MPG for every 10 that is 24 or better. The truck hasn't hit 24 MPG on the freeway yet though, which is where it struggles more, at least in loaded Lariat configuration. Past few highway trips (70 MPH range) were 22-23 MPG. So close! Not bad for being at 700 miles on the ODO so far, I hope by 2k I am seeing another MPG or so.I love my ride to the gym in the morning, can get some impressive numbers with carefully watching the EV coach screen and taking advantage of all the hills.
Ride back isn’t quite as good, but usually works out to a 29-30MPG average.

Those secondary roads where you can go 35-50mph seem to be the sweet spot where you can take advantage of it the most. And yes, I'm interested in seeing how it increases over time. This is also still my first tank of gas, I plan on switching to premium next to see if that helps at all or not. That is impressive! It's definitely where the PB can shine, local trips. We have a long (4+ hour) trip next Friday, will be 95% highway, that will be a good test and should be at around 1000 miles.
Just did a trip two weeks ago from Denver to Moab to Sedona. Approximately 1700 mile round trip, 200 of which were all electric. The truck is reporting roughly 21 mpg. Probably could have done better at a lower altitude and cooler weather.I am curious to know what folks are getting for MPG for around town and for any highway trip in the real world. I don't expect that towing would see any improvement over the 3.5 Ecoboost, but lots of us buying these are getting them in hopes of overall improved mileage.
Yeah, definitely not just a PowerBoost thing. These trucks hurt so bad on MPG above 70 MPH. So often when I see people say they aren't getting anywhere near rated MPG, it eventually comes out they live in Place X and "NOBODY drives the speed limit, if you don't drive 10 over... YOU DIE", and it's like well okay yeah, the EPA ratings weren't based on 80 MPH driving. One big thing on the highway is your speed, which is nothing new, but it's significant. I noticed a huge drop from keeping it around 65-70mph vs 75-80mph.
I am at 17.8 today. 650 miles city and hwyI am curious to know what folks are getting for MPG for around town and for any highway trip in the real world.
