I'm at the extreme end, but my truck got 21mpg from factory (not 24). I had to baby it to get 21mpg. Fx4, long bed, max tow, etc all add weight. My F150 is probably the heaviest and sure enough 3mpg less than sticker. I then added 35x11.5x20 nitto ridge grapplers and mileage dropped 2.5mpg. I...
I'm confused why Bluecruise is ready for new vehicles but not ready for OTA updates for vehicles a few months old. That makes no sense. If it is to simplify the system then again..... It shouldn't be in new vehicles.
I was trying to fix a another issue under the hood (trailer brake fault) when I noticed both coolant clamps on each side of overflow just sitting there loose in the locked open position. Didn't even know they had a locked open position.
I've never hooked up a trailer yet, but just had it happen. Seems very odd. Nice warm day. Drove to restaurant and it was fine. Came out from restaurant and it wasn't.
I disconnected the fuses shown in red in first post and then reinstalled them. I could here something clicking when fuse was...
I have about 8 years of dash cam experience and have installed them on probably 6 cars. I've always done dual dash cams in the past. Seems like the rear of the vehicle is every bit as important as the front. This time I decided to go with a 3 channel dash cam (Viofo A139) so the interior is...
I did a 30 mile loop at 65mph to establish a baseline. Calm winds. I then did same loop at 75mph and gas mileage dropped 20%. I then did it again at 55mph and gas mileage increased 20%. 75mph saves you time but then again you have to fill up 20% more often which costs time. Not sure if it's...
Powerboost 4x4 157"WB Platinum, FX4, max loaded so it's pretty heavy. I knew I planned to upgrade tire and do a lift in the future so I wanted to get 3 full tanks in (~1500) miles to establish a baseline. Then do 3 tanks with the upgraded tires and then 3 with the lift. As I suspected from other...
37" should be fine if you don't go crazy on offset. I like the factory look and keeping tires flush. I also didn't want to do a gear change. 37" and you'd loose 10th gear for sure. I went with 35x11.5x20.
