I love my ride to the gym in the morning, can get some impressive numbers with carefully watching the EV coach screen and taking advantage of all the hills.

Ride back isn’t quite as good, but usually works out to a 29-30MPG average.

That is impressive! It's definitely where the PB can shine, local trips. I have had a bunch of 24-30MPG trips since I posted my last pictures. I have had 1 trip under 24 MPG for every 10 that is 24 or better. The truck hasn't hit 24 MPG on the freeway yet though, which is where it struggles more, at least in loaded Lariat configuration. Past few highway trips (70 MPH range) were 22-23 MPG. So close! Not bad for being at 700 miles on the ODO so far, I hope by 2k I am seeing another MPG or so.

We have a long (4+ hour) trip next Friday, will be 95% highway, that will be a good test and should be at around 1000 miles.

Those secondary roads where you can go 35-50mph seem to be the sweet spot where you can take advantage of it the most. And yes, I'm interested in seeing how it increases over time. This is also still my first tank of gas, I plan on switching to premium next to see if that helps at all or not.

I'm also switching to premium gas, but in stages. After 175 miles, just added 7 gallons of high octane.

yes - that's close to 25MPG (average 24.5 according to the truck). mostly driving around town <45 MPH, some highway <65 MPH.

I am curious to know what folks are getting for MPG for around town and for any highway trip in the real world. I don't expect that towing would see any improvement over the 3.5 Ecoboost, but lots of us buying these are getting them in hopes of overall improved mileage.
Just did a trip two weeks ago from Denver to Moab to Sedona. Approximately 1700 mile round trip, 200 of which were all electric. The truck is reporting roughly 21 mpg. Probably could have done better at a lower altitude and cooler weather.

One big thing on the highway is your speed, which is nothing new, but it's significant. I noticed a huge drop from keeping it around 65-70mph vs 75-80mph.

Yeah, definitely not just a PowerBoost thing. These trucks hurt so bad on MPG above 70 MPH. So often when I see people say they aren't getting anywhere near rated MPG, it eventually comes out they live in Place X and "NOBODY drives the speed limit, if you don't drive 10 over... YOU DIE", and it's like well okay yeah, the EPA ratings weren't based on 80 MPH driving.

I know that's not the situation for everyone, but it is often it seems that people take the EPA highway reading to mean, this is the rated fuel economy for any highway speed you choose, guaranteed, until of what it really is which I think is 55 or 65.

Yep, and especially true on trucks that are literally windsails on wheels. If I keep it around 65 I can get 24-25mpg, if I'm doing 75-80 I'm lucky if I can keep it over 20mpg. Severe drop off.

I did a 30 mile loop at 65mph to establish a baseline. Calm winds. I then did same loop at 75mph and gas mileage dropped 20%. I then did it again at 55mph and gas mileage increased 20%. 75mph saves you time but then again you have to fill up 20% more often which costs time. Not sure if it's worth it.

I've had mine for a week yesterday. I do pretty close to 40-50% Highway. I keep forgetting to turn on the eco mode. when I had it in eco mode and was mindful of driving I got the dash mpg up to 24.
when it's not in eco mode and paid less attention to driving it read 22 mpg. I have not towed anything yet and put around 200 miles. Ford and the Dealer put 29 on it.

Picked min up on 4 June. Wife and I left for an 850 mile ( 1 way) trip to see my brother out on the North Carolina coast. Averaged a little over 22mpg on the way there and a little over 21 on the way back ECO mode the whole way. 90% interstate and not wanting to get run over I was doing 75-80 going, 75-80+ on the way back (trying to avoid Nashville rush hour traffic). I've been getting over 24+ around town easy and I love this truck, I was getting 13-14 on my GMC.

1000 miles in and I’m at 20.6 lifetime per computer). A few more fill-ups and I’ll have a better idea how much the computer lies.
