The dealer I purchased from lied to me, mislead me and then said not their responsibility too bad! Metro Ford in Miami, FL if you are in South Florida stay away from that dealer.

I contacted my dealer to see if they would do anything about the rust issues and they told me to contact Ford Corp. So I reached out to both customer relations as well as warranty. Ford warranty said to see if the dealership would cover it under paint warranty, but it would be up to dealer's discretion. Both Ford warranty and customer relations said they weren't aware of any rust issues on the new F150s (surprise). I filed a complaint through Ford warranty and opened a case file. Since Ford is saying they aren't aware of the rust issues, I would suggest as many of us as possible file a complaint and open a case file with Ford Corp like I did. The more complaints and cases they get, the more likely Ford is to acknowledge and address the rust issue.
My husband filed a complaint with FORD in March. FORD is well aware of the rust issue. See FORD's reply to Car and Driver Magazine https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a35726969/2021-ford-f-150-pickups-rust-reported/. I buy all kinds of things that if damaged there would be no impact to performance. If I purchase a new refrigerator and it arrives with a dent in it that's a problem (unless I got it at a outlet store). If I buy a new t-shirt and it has a stain it might still function but I expect a new t-shirt to be stain free. When I pay over 70k for a new truck I expect a truck with all new parts.

I’m also a victim of the rusted undercarriage. 2021 f150 with 1600 miles and rust everywhere. I purchased it one month ago today and it’s in south Louisiana so there’s zero salt on the roads. I am taking it in early next week so I’m hoping they will do something about it.

If you have been through the process, please share it with the rest of us!

I, for one, totally agree with you. Mine has been at the dealer for 2 weeks (tomorrow) trying to get this sh!t taken care of that they agreed to prior to purchase. Now everybody up there has gone stupid, for lack of a better term. "Uh, we don't know how to proceed with this." I can clearly see their dilemma since we're talking about building a new rocket, not just removing rust and protecting the underside of one of their trucks. I am rapidly reaching that point none of us like to reach in dealing with a dealership.
