I just had my second master switch go out. Ford has replaced both out of warranty. My warranty literally just ran out after the last event, so we'll see what happens next event.
I have it on mine as well. Several windows, back drivers, rear, drivers. Dealership where purchased "attempted" to remove, and they did get some, but not nearly all of it. Frustrating for what I paid, but at this point, I just live with it.
As an update to mine, truck would not jump from 3 different jumper packs and had to be towed to dealer through FordPass. Wasn't too bad, and I had a truck in about 3 hours. Dealership was able to jump it with a pack that put out 700 cranking amps. I think mine puts out around 400.
Anyway...
Just now had the same exact thing happen to mine. Been parked in the garage since Tuesday evening. Walked down to get something out of it, and when I opened the door, a large red alert came on the main screen and said Parking Brake Failure, Service At Once, or something to that effect. Never...
I can assure you, there is no bounciness. It's just that, a rumor. I can also tell you that, IMO, they ride very nice, both on highway and light off road. Overall handling on this truck is increased 100% vs stock, again, IMO. I am very pleased so far with the performance vs cost aspect.
I had the Eibachs put on about a month ago. Truck is perfectly level and rides great. For the price, and what's actually available, I'm happy. Handling is vastly improved over stock.
