New OTA 3.5.3.2 Software being pushed out (This is 3.5.3 but for 2022 model year trucks)

Perhaps my following question has been answered in another post somewhere, I don't know. With a VIN some guys can tell you about software updates. How is this so? Do these people work for Ford? Or are these guys using their own paid access to FDRS? Can anyone check on this stuff if they pay for access to FDRS? I'm just curious.

You don’t need to be a Ford employee. Anybody can buy an FDRS license and punch in their—or anybody else’s—VIN to see the update status of the truck. To do anything with that information, however, will cost you another $550 for a vehicle interface cable.

FDRS is needed to check individual module updates and anyone can get a license. PTS/Oasis is a website to check several things including OTA history and that is for Ford employees.

Interesting observation, my sync system in the vehicle shows that it is running 22293, but when I look up my vehicle online and look at the sync version it shows 22294. So does this mean that I have a update queued up ready to be pushed? I just had my APIM updated at the dealership to 3.5.3. @rugedraw can you take a peek at my VIN to see if a update is ready to be pushed. VIN 1FTEW1E8XNFB78494

Confirmed that two people outside the early access program have gotten this OTA.

two of the three 22's we own got the update. One didn't and our two 21's haven't seen anything.

Good news. Can you resize the carplay to whatever size you want? Did you get 3.5.3 before this, or is this the first time you get full screen capability?

After considerable testing, it’s just the two sizes, full screen CarPlay and regular size CarPlay, on my 12” screen.

Forgive my ignorance here, if I'm following along, y'all are talking about an update 3.5.3.x and my truck is at 2.8.1? I took possession Feb 2021. How can I be so horribly behind? I have no clue what Sync 4 version I have. I have never been able get my android auto to work, does that have something to do with 2.8.1 version as well? Thx
