Apparently I have a battery issue. Started at 30% charged to 96. Took a 20 minute drive to Wally World and shopped 30ish. 20 minute drive back. Battery back down to 60%. Sound normal?
Definitely not normal.

Even right after leaving the house with 90%+ my start stop screen said engine running due to charging. Guess I’ll make an appointment next week.

Since you’re going to the dealer anyway, you have a few days to play with the battery. Try throwing in on the charger at least overnight. The charger will charge the battery as much as it can, and if the battery reaches a full charge, it will then put a conditioning charge on the battery and then it will go into a trickle (float) mode where I should sit until you take it off. If it’s really sophisticated, the charger will alternate float and a conditioning charge periodically. If the battery fails to hold a charge after that, then you’ll know you have a problem. Right now it’s not entirely clear that the battery is toast. These truck do put a heavy hit on them. Letting the charger condition the battery a little with a long charge can often do wonders for them. Short trips—just the opposite.

I’ll give it a shot. Should we really have to charge our daily drivers though?

I posted a pic of my charger above. Think it’ll do all that?

Take a look at the BMS monitoring thread if you have not already. Big takeaway there is when you charge your batter do not connect negative to negative post, connection needs to be on other side of the BMS. That way the truck knows the battery has been charged.

I got this update today. Am I supposed to have full screen Google maps with Applee carplay now? I can’t get it to expand full screen, unless there is some trick I am missing?

Anyone know how frequently the OTA update triggers are sent? Mine failed on 1/27, I turned off Wifi, but nothing yet. I'm trying to make sure everything is good in the event it can update itself.

Nobody knows. Could be days, weeks or months.

Because you haven't received the Android Auto Coolwalk update from Google's servers yet. This is rolling out to tens of millions of people right now. Most people who do have full screen Google Maps are part of the beta program. Could be days weeks or another month or three, standby...
