Rather annoying behavior. Why doesn’t Sync start up on it’s last screen setting? I usually have it on my NAV but when I turn on my truck it always defaults to the settings screen. Anyway of changing this?

So I can finally post my towing rig. Picked up our ‘made to order’ travel trailer last week. A mini 5th wheel, the Escape 5.0. GVWR 5500lbs. My 2.7EB is rated to tow almost double that.

If I have my Sync4 split screen with Ford NAV/FM Radio on truck startup, I’m finding my system always switches over to Spotify when ApplePlay connects. Can I stop ApplePlay taking over?

I did on my 2022 model. Payload was just a tad under 1900lbs. For my particular config, max tow is 10,100lbs. Yet to tow with it but will be getting an Escape 5.0 5th wheel mid October. Max weight will be about 5500lbs. The Escape 5.0 is only 21ft long.

Ok after a lot of swearing I managed to get them in. Trick appears to be to tilt it slightly. Was not an easy slot in. Thanks all.

Am I being a moron? For the life of me I cannot get the Ford supplied cleats to go into the boxlink brackets. Even tried a rubber hammer to get them in. No dice. They just will not slide up into the bracket. what am I doing wrong?

Edit: and my screen started working again. Suspect the glitch was due to the latest OTA update which I also got this morning. ———- So my screen is going blank after the initial boot up when I start my truck. 360 camera view still comes up when in reverse. Spotify/ CarPlay still works, sort...

Awesome! You're correct. Just checked. DIdn't spot that. I was pressing the expand button bottom right but it didn't' do anything.

Just got the recent 3.5.3.2 update but still can’t go full screen on Google Maps. Am I missing something or is it not supported yet?

I got this update today. Am I supposed to have full screen Google maps with Applee carplay now? I can’t get it to expand full screen, unless there is some trick I am missing?

I’ve had mine hit the brakes when backing up. Tall grass was confusing the sensors. I thought I’d actually hit something when it happened.

Best I have so far is 24.5mpg on a long road-trip, relatively flat. Sweet spot seems to be around 55mph. Currently averaging around 23mpg, with 5000 miles on the clock. This is what the truck is telling me. I really need to hand calculate as well.

Well unfortunately the fault cleared before my dealer appt. Took it into today and they confirmed the stored codes. Quoted the service bulletin referenced earlier in this thread. Basically waiting for this Oct fix. Dealer did say to bring it in immediately if the fault occurs, no appt...
