On the PowerBoost power train, Ford but on a a device that beeps when you back up. You know like those garbage and dump trucks. I guess since is it is electric backing up they wanted to alert ppl. It also makes engine sounds when electric mode. So there is a resistor you can plug into the speaker port to stop it and not throw error codes.

I’m even more ready to grab my similar build but in black from granger after it’s prepped.

The color is actually Avalanche. It is a very light gray. Notice the white truck next to it. Avalanche does not photograph well. Here is a pictures of a Mustang in Avalanche with white racing stripes on the hood. This pic really shows the difference.

Very happy for you, just a little disappointed Ford creates a special trim level then gives the things itt thoughts as unique to the black package too.

I believe avalanche is a solid (no metallic or pearl).

Yea, I didn't think Ford would go through the trouble to accommodate the unique exhaust system to the Powerboost.
I assume all the magic is AFTER the exhaust heat exchanger?
If so, it might be possible to retrofit for those that want it but enough.

Sure would like to see a picture underneath with that truck up on a lift. Out of curiosity only though.

It is a literal speaker under the front of the truck that emits a UFO like sound when driving in all electric to alert pedestrians around you. It sounds terrible and many people (like me) have bought a product from Mega Ohm Motorsports (https://www.megaohmmotorsports.com/) that bypasses the speaker so that you can cruise around all electric in peace.
