  1. LED projector headlights - comparison to previous gen F-150?

Thought so. Thanks for the replies. Extortion dealer markup prices are coming down a bit. May just take another stab at a Gen14. Sort of regret not taking delivery on the 22 PB Plat I ordered....
  2. LED projector headlights - comparison to previous gen F-150?

Interested what owners of 2021+ higher end trucks think of the LED projector headlights. Specifically, are they better than the previous generation LED lights. I have a 2020 limited and I must admit, they don't light up the road well at all. Disappointing but I remember reading someone...
  3. 2022 F150 Lariat V8 aka ZeroDark30 Build!

Truck looks great. While an expensive mod, I would buy the rear bumper sections for a dual exhaust BAP package truck where the bottom of the bumper has the indents to stuff the tail pipes and tips into the bumper. IMHO looks better. Ford doesn't offer it on the 5.0. Shame.
  4. F-150 Hybrid to Power House

You need a transfer switch that opens both hots AND the neutral from the home wiring. These types of transfer switches are available. I know Generac makes one or two.
  5. STOP delivery on some F-150 due to 10-speed auto transmission recall -- loose bolt / park pawl issue

The dealer that has a 2022 Platinum in stock. It's the one I ordered and refused to purchase after taking so long. That truck has a wiper motor recall so they cannot deliver it. Someone can buy it at $4,000 above MSRP but it has to sit on the dealer lot until they get parts. Interesting...
  6. 8/15/2022 Build Week

Well my 2022 Platinum ordered first week of May finally was delivered to the dealer. Body fit on the truck seemed good. No leaks underneath but I noticed the coolant line for the heat exchanger was tight up against the hot exhaust. Took it for a test drive. The 7.2 Power outlet was tripped...
  7. MY 2023 F-150 Lariat is in! Initial pics (will update as needed)

This is the first BAP Powerboost with the dual exhaust setup I've seen. Is this a 2023 thing?
  8. I'm new to this... kindly school me

Regarding the ESP: Feel glad you don't live in Florida. Must be a licensed Florida Ford dealer and pay the full MSRP of the plan. Sucks.
  9. I LOVE the power

It will school a raptor but not necessarily a 2019-20 limited with the raptor motor / exhaust. 450HP with 510 'lbs has more HP but 60 'lbs less torque. The limited being around 300 pounds lighter it is formidable adversary ...
  10. Ford Connected Vehicle Data

Next thing you know, Geico is raising your premium for excessive speed. How did they know??? Just thought it was interesting.
  11. Ford Connected Vehicle Data

Maybe I'm reading too much into this. But..... CerebrumX Lab, an AI-driven automotive data services & management platform, announced it will incorporate Ford connected vehicle data to support its data-driven usage-based insurance-as-a-Service model for Insurers. This model offers a quicker and...
  12. new to PowerBoost - how to drive it.

Agree with the feedback. Can't wait until I tell the dealer, I need some time with it / not a 10 minute drive around the block. Either way, I still have 2020 Limited that is very good to me.
  13. new to PowerBoost - how to drive it.

From what I've read on a couple other posts, left turn out into traffic and having to accelerate quickly. Gas pedal pushed down with little to no response then the ICE starts and lunges forward. One stated almost got hit in the rear (Maybe cut someone off?) and the other said it lunged so...
  14. new to PowerBoost - how to drive it.

Is this happening to others? This is not the only post regarding slow/delayed response to ICE pulling out into traffic. I have talked to two other current owners and both complained of the transition to ICE.
  15. Lag then Quick Acceleration from electric to gas?

I do agree there are thousands that must have very few issues. Thank you for the info on yours. I have been asking PB owners when I can find them how things are going. The last person came right out and stated I better get used to / learn to deal with the lag electric to gas. They have a...
  16. Lag then Quick Acceleration from electric to gas?

Reading through this thread has me quiet concerned. I have a 22 Platinum PB on order since early May that is rotting away in some field waiting for parts. Most likely, it will get built and delivered to the dealer before end of this year. However, reliability issues and especially this...
  17. 8/15/2022 Build Week

Good bye group 8/15. After 3 productions delays that has me in this group, this week I received the dreaded production delay email. So I'm done. I found a mint 2020 Limited with low miles and bought it. Built a couple months before the pandemic. City mileage will hurt but the 450HP H.O...
  18. 190K LIGHTNING

That's the new Ford Frightning EV.
  19. 8/15/2022 Build Week

Ordered 5/12. Vin number and three production dates. Seem to be settling down here. Dealer called and confirmed 8/15 build week and delivery to dealer around 9/11. All fingers and toes crossed.
  20. F150 3.73 locking differential

Didn't realize GM did away with the mechanical locking. THX
