  3. How to attach “steel” bar to bed

No update (ie no install) here either ... only been taking 2 bikes(ktm85 + either pit bike or my 250) so have been great with traditional tie downs and corner anchors. I did reach out to ccr as i thought about using just their bolts/anchors. Here’s what they said: [edit: agree w post below...

  5. First road trip in ‘23 Powerboost: Two dogs, 2 kids and 1506 miles of driving = Awesome trip!

We r debating F150 vs X7 for our road-trip to NY this summer with our 17, 12 year old kids and our golden retriever. I was sure what will give more room as we do pick the x7 + dog in cargo are. Any pics of dogs sitting with kids in seat? Thanks!
  6. 2023 F-150 RCSB with ~3" Lift and Skinny 35" Tires

Super sharp. Looks like some of the 70s F1xx that show up on BAT. 👍.
  7. Why is Ford cutting the OEM wheel well liners.

Are the liner’s clips damaged when you remove / reinstall? Not sure if they have normal plastic clips that have a 50/50 chance of breaking when removing?
  8. DIY In-Bed Mountain Bike Mount

Hi. Is the swagman fork mount? I could nt find a wheel mount other than ride88 which would interfere with MX dirt bike tie downs in front. Ride88 looks super nice tho.

Bike rack problem statement: For my sons BMX bike (mostly when we go to dirt bike track) Simple and fast install and uninstall Keep front wheel on his bike Take up as little space as possible (2 dirt bikes and gear in back still) Dont interfere with dirt bike tie down straps at front of bed...
  11. DIY In-Bed Mountain Bike Mount

A couple adds as I’ve been researching but haven’t found a good solution for my situation: transport 1 bike(either my 29er Stache or sons 20” bmx) for when my sons 85cc 2T dirtbike is in the bed and strapped to front tie downs: 1. Simplest solution, but my Rollup tonneau frame gets in way. If...
  12. Can my battery die? “Stop safely now”

Thanks. I’m still learning nuances of PB ... my uneducated gut says batt voltage was down and tripped a sensor so I went into “stop safely now”. I’ll need to look to see if any codes still exist.
  13. Can my battery die? “Stop safely now”

low battery state is for the standard 12V battery?
  14. Can my battery die? “Stop safely now”

Hi. I got the dreaded”stop safely now” last night when at the MX track. We were there for 6 hrs, in/out of truck and may have had lights on. I was able to resolve by disconnecting battery for 10 min or so. I assumed I can’t run my battery down due to PB battery. I’m questioning this now! Am...

  17. ReadyRamp Bed Extender - Anyone Use?

Ready ramp would be nice ... the ktm 85 and crf110 are super easy on/off. My 250r is a big step down using tailgate step!
  18. How to attach “steel” bar to bed

Making me feel guilty for my lack of progress 😀 Because of bed wall structure, I positioned the bar a little lower than likely intended. - I drilled the first (center) of the 5 holes. - I cut down the length of the bolt (because of the minimal distance/gap between the bed and cab) - I can’t...
  19. I'm being charged for options that are not on the truck that Ford delivered..

    1. If you had options that weren’t included they should be removed from Msrp/invoice (example: spray in bed liner) 2. Portions of standard equip or option package weren’t included should have a Msrp/invoice credit (example: heated steering wheel)
  20. What do I do with this?
