My 2021 F150 EcoBoost burned down while driving it

My Ecoboost had 12,000 miles on it, idk what happened. Smoking, then pulled over, and things started blowing up. Night mare. Do not buy a new truck from Ford. The dealer Phil Long told me to get it off of thier property. Only asked me what I did to it, which I only changed the antenna.

I did take it to the dealer, I really thought they would at least ask if I was OK, and try to help me. The trailer was 4000 lbs and empty, the towing capacity was advertised at 14000.

I thought my truck had two alternators but only one on the engine now... the battery also caught on fire a 2nd time while loading it on the tow truck

It absolutely is, my lawyer and insurance rep recommended I take it to the dealer first, but I now already have a claim going. My insurance is going to have an investigator look at it as well.

I think there is a real downside to the aluminum body panels is they will not help protect you in a fire, they instantly melt away

I'm wondering if this is related to the direct injection of gasoline. Thus a high pressure fule line(s) could separate at a union or crack... Then gasoline would be spraying out causing a fire... Notably these are not battery fires as the location is way off from the battery.

I thought my truck had 2 alternators, and now there is only one on the engine. I scraped this off the ground with a shovel, I'm not sure if it was an alternator or not, but all of the other engine accessories were still intact
