J/K Ford would never do that....
Yep. I remember reading an article a couple of years ago that Ford would be moving to subscription based services. Good money maker I guess.Mine already has Alexa but received this update notice last night.
Heh...
I wouldn't be so sure of that.
Toyota started it with their monthly subscription to use remote start. BMW went off the deep end and are charging to use just about everything. That was including Carplay and Android Auto until a huge backlash caused them to back pedal on at least that..
It's only a matter of time before Ford jumps on the Car features as a service model and starts charging customers to use standard features just like BMW...
I remember it took many months for me to receive an OTA after receiving my ‘21. That was December of 2020.Joined this club last night, so the OTA train is rolling for 22s. Good sign for the 22+ crowd on the ease of OTAs?
It worked for video game publishers like EA and the like..Yep. I remember reading an article a couple of years ago that Ford would be moving to subscription based service. Good money maker I guess.
I just dump ice into mine already, so I'm set.3.6.0 will turn your center console into a beer cooler
